The table doesn't lie well done

As a Saints fan I offer sincere thanks to the fans of other teams for their words of congratulation, it means a great deal. I value the LLS because you have to emerge victorious over 27 rounds, no mean feat.

There's still a great deal to play for however, and for me the race to Old Trafford is wide open and will be an exciting one. Good luck to all.

Its not. But it's a false position. Totally false.

Until every team is trying their very best every week we can't crow about finishing top. This Saints side, even with Walsh and Lomax in it, isn't the best side in SL. That will be shown, again for a 7th consecutive year, by us finishing without either of the major trophies. It's not down to injuries that we'll end up there either.

We're not as fit as the top sides and we don't want it as much as the big sides. We're not as well coached and tactically we're nowhere. The squad itself is good enough to win trophies, but there are a lot of things that need to improve before we'll win anything.

Do you have a 24 hour timer switch which reverts back to sad mode. We dont want reality until next week.

Well done Saints. Best team in the regular season. Don't think there's a top 8 side you haven't beaten so I wouldn't write you off for the play offs.

There are quite a few rugby league fans up here, including plenty of Saints. That will very much continue in the event of a 'Yes' vote, fear not!
