Ive yet to see fans of clubs who dont win the lls say anything positive about it. You dont have to go back many years when people whose club won the lls where saying the real champions are the league winners and not the winners of an end of season play off system.

Not just them.
Look at Manly. They conceded 40 points in their play off game. A number of teams have conceded over 40 points in games this year. There have been some serious thumpings.
And some of it bores the pants off me. It's just five drives, a big wrestle and a kick. |

Another set of posts over hyping the NRL, yet when it comes to the International games the SL players still hold their own.
And that is with a coach that most don't rate.
I'm more a believer in what one man can do another can do. They are not Gods, they are just men.

I agree with the above. I do get a bit sick of the NRL love fest. I try to watch the games but I don't find them any more exciting than ours.
Let's see what happens in the WCC...something the British teams seem to do well in.

When was this ? I missed that one ? Everytime I've seen internationals vs Australia they've cruised along without the need to hit second gear. |
