It’s been a tough few weeks for Rovers fans – losing games amid perceived injustices from the both on-field and video refs and taking the brunt of some harsh disciplinary decisions. This is possibly one reason why – per your coaches comments – our league position is slightly false.

Follow this up with the departures of two players last week for breaches of club discipline and finally the exit of our coach on Thursday and I think the reason for the celebrations post match can be understood. It certainly helps to let players and Chris Chester know that they have the fans backing.

Good post mate. My son and I were at the game and couldn't believe how badly Saints played....but great credit to your guys for getting stuck into (what was, for us) a poor pack of forwards and an inept display by our half backs. Wilkin last week was superb but the poor lad couldn't do anything right today and I think this was the case with quite a few others. However, we shouldn't get away from the fact that your lot simply didn't allow our guys to get into the game. A great result for KR and well deserved.

What shocked me most was the price to get in on the day. £25 is scandalous.

I was very pleased that it put me off. Saved me the journey and watching us getting embarrassed again.
