Not at all, I hope he becomes the player he was at penrith it would be great for super league, but some of you need to stop kidding your selves that he put in some kind of super human performance last night when in reality he is still playing well below him self.

| Given most on here were fearing the worst (myself included) there's some pretty negative responses here!
Mose's stats backup what I saw, which is fantastic. For the "well he takes the kick offs" and "he wasn't on for as long as walker and lms" how come walker and lms' stats aren't boosted by kick offs when Mose is off the pitch? Also, we dropped 2 kickoffs so there weren't that many to return! It seems some on here won't be happy until he plays like a YouTube (are we allowed to say YouTube these days? If not, video sharing site ) highlights reel every game
Still missing too many tackles. I'm a bit confused as to how I feel about Wilkins contribution, he seems enthusiastic and does some great stuff, but also does some really poor stuff - same with lance. Flanaghan was poor, and seemed to be stopped dead every time. Everything tells me Dawson should be rubbish, yet every week goes out and posts great stats. I also liked the interchange him and wheeler had, where he'd go to centre in attack with wheeler outside him, and switch in defence.
Positives are we are still making breaks for fun, the attitude was better, and we for the first time in a while had a bit of bite back.
Negatives are there's still some question marks over senior players contributions, and were still missing way too many tackles.

Also when looking at stats it doesn't mention time on the field. Ie mosoe my have done 13 tackles in 65mins yet walker or LMS have done more tackles in 40mins total. Think this puts things in perspective'" totally agree with this post. I have just checked ferris and Crabtree stats for meters they only managed 76 and 78 . The only reason Mosoe got more was what you said

He was not on longer I believe he did about 20 mins in each half the same as mosoe

I think you missed one important point and that was his effectiveness on the oppostion, it takes about 3 defenders to put him down on each carry draining there energy levels. It was noticable when Masoe was on the field the opposition forwards looked knackered, Roby then started having a field day in the middle of the field.
This effect was why Masoe was voted Man of the Match.

Spot on.
And he was fun to watch! Those of us in the West Stand thoroughly enjoyed his effectiveness!

| I've not seen the the game but looking at Lms stats and reading just how poor hudds was it doesn't make good reading for Lms.
He's just not effective with the ball. He needs to make way for laffranchi or Beaumont when both are fit.

| Anyone who does not think Mose carried that pack needs their heads testing. 4 more carries than LMS and 100 meters more.
Graham got 200m last week I think. So whilst not at that level, still pretty decent.
Dawson once again great in the stats. He can't be ignored.

As previously stated LMS never once had the ball kicked to him from a kick off in the Hudds game where meters get made. You have got to read the game not the stats. A lot of people make their decisions by just reading the stats . Maybe rotation of props is a good idea but we have not got any rotation of props with our injuries. But it looks like to me LMS has put his hand up and played 67 games out of 70 in the last few seasons and we can't assume that this lad has been 100 percent fit this season and is not carrying any injuries. How many other super league players has done that. Like I said previously Crabtree and Ferris only managed 76 and 78 meters would you also say that they played bad.

| I've never been one for stats personally.
Can anyone tell me how they're calculated. Are metres counted from where a player receives the ball, or from where the play the ball is?

It's from where he receives the ball, that's why fullbacks and wingers who receive the ball from kicks have good metre stats. Also the prop who runs the ball back from kick offs sometime appear to have good stats.
The real test I suppose would be the hard yards (metres made from first contact)

And that's why I've been critical of Mose as I don't thick he does the hard meters (not seen hudds game). In fact it's really frustrated me watching walk back from a kick letting the play come to him while the likes of Amor been putting two drives in.

Well, rest assured, he did the hard metres in the Hudds game. The West Stand fans were chanting his name when they did their mini lap of honour at the end. Caused much amusement among the players. Weststanders aren't dopes. We recognise when someone has stood up to be counted, and Mose definitely did that on Friday night.
Like I said elsewhere, during his MoM interview in front of the Sky cameras he said he was 'still learning', which suggests his role is very different to the one he was used to back home. It also suggests that there is more to come.

I'd like to say id take posters on here word for it that Mose played well having not seen the game but I've seen posters say he's played well before and IMHO he's been awful!
I can't imagine him doing hard yards. How did he get back to take the drives? He usually doesn't get into our attacking line until 3rd or 4th tackle.

Pete, all I will say is that he was the player who almost stopped the try being scored which came from Brough's clever kick off and which Hohaia didn't attempt to catch. He flew across the ingoal and almost got to the Hudds player in time. The man was on a mission I tell you.
