Jammer has been disciplined by the club, and will be banned from playing for the club for 3 years, commencing 2012 season.
Anybody know why the try was disallowed, I was too far away to see it, only saw the players reactions as they thought it was a certain try.

And at the end of the day it was a perfect try.
At least Jammer didn't stick two fingers up at the ref. I know I would have done.

It was a belter and so obviously a try that we were all astounded it wasn't awarded. For a prop to score such an athletic try was amazing and the ball was grounded at least six inches on the correct side of the dead ball line.

I was in awe of Betham's incompetence last night. He really shouldn't get another game this season.

I do believe that was the top and bottom of it. Poor behaviour but he has apologised to the team who effectively had to pay the penalty for him.

Talk of anything else is daft, many players who kick the ball away get nothing during a match other than a penalty or 10 meters.

Bans and fines are for foul play or cheating not displays of petulance.

Saints discipline their players for swearing at crowds hence Eastmonds suspension. Comparing kicking a ball in frustration and Swearing at the crowd is just comparing 2 different things entirely and trying to compare an act against someone else, to an act that is self contained. It's not like he launched it at a player, an offical or a fan.

I think the reaction of most rugby fans angered by this outburst is because he and wellens do it too often. And other teams too. We need it out of our game. We'll be using a round ball next!!!!

In short, there would be little difference in the reaction only in the shirt colours of the fans reacting.
