on current form eastmond is looking better but if you look at big picture pryce is massive in attack for us.

I'd agree. We'd probably have lost another half dozen games had it not been for Pryce when he stood up and took charge. Pity he stopped doing that!

strange thing is that pryce is not playing even close to his best but IMO has still been 1 of our better players in this rough patch.

Pryce makes good yards and does his tackling. Pryce, Kyle and roby look like only players that can make a break.

IMO Kyle, longy and pryce all need to play in starting 13 in order to win at old Trafford.

Depends what you mean by ' currently'. He has been poor of late, standing and passing and little else.

Admittedly he sometimes doesn't impress as much as we know he can with ball in hand, but he doesn't hide.

I agree. Pryce gets through a lot of tackles. He still looks the player most likely to make a break.

tbh I think when saints are in top gear pryce brings alot to the party. When they fail to get on top and dominate you don't notice him. Kyle seems more of a live wire who can create something against the grain whatever the conditions.

To be fair to our halfbacks it's pretty hard to create anything when our pack comes off 2nd best most weeks.

If any team kicks deep we struggle to get out of our half.

If I'm being honest it's the worst pack saints have had since super league started and will be worse off next year when gilmour goes.

Pryce is one of the most dangerous players in the league 10 to 15 meters out, 2 or 3 passes wide of the ruck!! When saints have plenty of ball in the oposition 20 pryce can be a match winner!! If saints arnt bullying teams pryce is ineffective and goes missing big time!! pryce for mine looks lost without an experienced 7

That's why I would play longy and eastmond at halfbacks and pryce at loose or even centre.

I have my doubts over if pryce and eastmond at halfback will work next year.

I have my doubts too. I think they are too similar.

When pryce and Kyle have been our halfbacks this year we have lacked direction and a good kicking game.

That could be down to Kyle being young kid just breaking in to team, our pack not being good enough or it just don't work.

It might all change next year when Kyle has full pre-season with 1st team.

Only time will tell.
