In short, Wilkin has developed well. He may have looked as though he could have been a superstar (in some peoples eyes), as it happens, he has essentially continued to grow since his "peak season in 2006."

We've lost the last two grand finals because we weren't the best team on the day... because the players that had already put everything into winning the other two trophies and getting us to the grand finals couldn't perform well enough in one last game in each of those seasons! He,s averaging 40 tackles a game, 85 metres, one of the highest tackle busts, only 2 penalties and 2 errors so far this season. For me thats not showboating.

I think people should get off his back, people should watch the amount of effort he puts in, tackles, dummy runs, kicking, support play etc. As for playing against big teams he did alright in the Challenge Cup and thats year after year.

Pete, if you're going to run your mouth on a forum, expect to have your opinion challenged. Resorting to keyboard warrior tactics like "you wouldn't say this to my face" is just going make people think what and a-hole.

You said he needs to improve to his his 2006 level, yet there is irrefutable evidence that Wilkin has improved to a level above his 2006 performance, despite playing in a less dominant team.
