Charnley with a good tackle to save a try.

Knock on from Saints looks like it will take us to full time.

Hard to judge a friendly but it sounded generally very positive

We were ok first half but not so great second half. Our discipline let them back into the game and they ultimately got better position and ball in the second half through penalties.

Burns looked lively for us and his kicking was good and I was happy with how our pack dominated the game. Vea looked good and greenwood had a good game. Percival looked dangerous every time he got the ball too.

Wigan didn't look sharp and the lad they have had 6 didn't really get into the game. The young Alex Murphy made a few errors and didn't do much. This was probably because they struggled to make yards up through the middle but they were missing a couple. They looked considerably smaller than us...

Only a friendly but plenty to work on for both teams.

Lomax picked up an injury and it looked like it was the same issue he had with his hamstring/thigh?

Excellent first half performance , defence in particular looked very strong.
All went very scrappy second half and gave away far too many penalties.
Poor pre-season for the pies losing to Leigh and quite convincingly today.

Impressed with Vea and Greenwood for Saints but I thought Amor was sensational and the man of the match. You'll be a much better side with Lomax back who offers that threat from fullback that makes room for others around him.

As fur us we've looked all over the place in both our friendlies but maybe it's to be expected with quite a bit of chopping and changing and with a good number of players out.

In short both teams have things to work on but I'm confident we'll be up there come the end of the season and I'm sure Saints will be.

Fairly satisfied on our preperation, our line speed was pretty good to get into the Wigan Pack. I like Burns, niggly sod when defending and will get better as he settles in, I hope Sav gets a lot more game time he' a good replacement for Manu, hard to put down and attracts lots of defenders and can offload in heavy traffic.

Vea gets through loads of work and I think big Joe should be in the regular 17, biggest worry is Lomax seems to be going into an injury prone career, hope I,m wrong.

Did Sav play in the middle at prop or wider in the back row?

Didn't go today as on crutches and also ill but sounds like Greenwood played well. Always impressed me and Sia told me he's strong as hell.

I didn't see Lomax go off. Can you elaborate any mate? Curious to know how it looked like same injury as before if you aren't sure if it was thigh or hamstring.

On a side note, how completely classless and pathetic of Wigan fans to sing "Ben Flower, he tw*ts who he wants." Morons.

It was a really scrappy game with far too many errors from both sides. Saints looked quicker with ball in hand as a lot of Wigans passing went behind the man and to the floor. The game winner was Saints superb tackle on Patrick which caused him to lose the ball right on the line with about 20 minutes to go. Had Wigan scored then I think they may have gone on to take the game.

Travis Burns kicking game was very good but his indiscipline will cost Saints at some time.

Hahahahaha. You aren't even disguising your posts now. Your trolling is far too blatant here. Jog on old man.

Cunningham has said Lomax took a knock to his back but it isn't a worry. Turner OK too.
