We need Walsh to be involved as much as we can but he needs a platform and the last two weeks our pack has been beaten good and proper.

The pack needs to start playing for the 80 mins and not the last 20.

People can quote me all they like, its not like I was wrong with anything, other than suggesting it looked like the game was up. They were shocking first half, well up to the hour mark really. Made it a very hard game tonight with the way they played early doors. They will have to look at that and improve. Second week in a row and third recently if you include the Wakefield game where we've been pretty shocking for large parts of the game and got out of jail at the end.

Sensational last 10, they will want to forget the first 70.

Don't get me wrong, we were shocking for large parts of the game (if nothing else, it's reinforced my belief that we should do whatever we can to get huby next year!)

It was sheer belief that got us through. I don't want 80 minute performances right now (save that for August/ September/ October) but to continue winning these matches is an incredible achievement.

Indeed. But if they approach the start of the game a bit more professionally, they could probably have kept that Cas spell to one score and been ahead by half time, killed it after the break and took a breather for next week. Wigan have probably rested half their players and we've put ourselves through the mincer with an epic battle. We'll no doubt have another next Friday, which will mean Monday is either a write off or another hard fought battle. I just hope it doesn't come home to roost against Leeds.

We seem to be playing with pretty low intensity - maybe with an eye to try and get through the tough patch? Wigan obviously played a low intensity game today - difference only being their opposition wasn't good enough to take advantage (hence my pet peeve of us constantly following London in the fixtures, Leeds 2 weeks ago, cas this week and Wigan next will play London before us - there's the true rfl conspiracy!)

To outlast cas is impressive, but when you consider, they've essentially had 2 weeks off to prepare for this, it makes it even more so!

They are great when it is like the Leeds game: two teams going at each other for the full 80 minutes. But games like last week and today show a lack of professionalism in our ranks. Nathan Brown expressed his disappointment at our attitude in the first half, Wello said they were embarrassed by their first half performance (and it was embarrassing) and Josh Jones said he thought they had believed there would be no problem as they were top of the league. Hopefully, this game has shown them that they have to put in the effort against all teams, and not just Leeds, Wire and Wigan.

I hate it when they bring a bad attitude. It's disrespectful to fans and opposition. They didn't deserve to win tonight.

But I'm rather glad they did!

And although Luke Walsh left his best kicking boots in the team coach, he was outstanding once he got the chance to be.
