The fact that he's fallen into it may mitigate it to some extent, but it was still reckless and it's not like he backed out one he realised it was the face he was impacting on. The subsequent chest banging and back slapping was worthy of a ban on its own.

Not saying whether O'Loughlin should have been banned or not, but when someone is knocked out, it isn't a nothing incident.

The celebrations, as you very well know, were for the tackle. Anyone with even the most basic understanding of rugby would understand that, were it not for the player slipping, this is exactly what O'Loughlin put in. Check out the initial reactions of the commentators for confirmation if you are really unable to see this for yourself (which I doubt!). To even suggest it was for 'knocking a teenager out' is...well, let's be honest...simply making things up and does the players, the game in general and, not least, yourself a disservice! Let's just say this post wasn't your finest hour and move on.
