Not in my eyes, never has been but I have the view that I only want the best for Huddersfield, when he was saying he was off a couple of seasons ago I would have got rid then. Only want folks who want to be here and have their heart in it and are committed 110%

Understand that, but are seriously saying that if baloo gets an offer to coach leeds or wigan or warrington or saints in a few years time that he will stay "loyal" to hudds?

I don't think judging a coach thrown in at the deep end in his twenties is fair to be honest.

But if we are going to, he took a struggling team to second if I remember correctly, in the toughest competition in the world. Granted things went a bit pear shaped in his last season, but he soon brought Huddersfield up the table when he came over.

He simply hasn't had a proper chance to prove that he is a top class coach. His temperament does worry me, but it didn't do Milward any harm when he was here. We'll have to wait and see.

Nothing but praise and thanks for nathan brown from me,he took us to heights most of us had never dreamed off, its a shame things had to end the way it has, but he will always have my respect despite some of our fans' short memories

What do you think of the mid season slump you guys seem to go through under him? Is it a mental issue? A coaching issue?

Its not been good, something clearly hasn't been right this year,whether the players have lost the respect for browny and aren't playing for him nobody knows,he's messed a lot of players around positionally and tactically which seems to have upset them, but hopefully baloo can bring them together now and brown can have a good career at saints. Like i said it's all gone sour the last few weeks but i prefer to see the bigger picture and appreciate what nathan has done in his time with us.

A balanced view. For the saints fans who are blaming a poor squad and problem players- brown had arguably the best squad in paper at st George and won nothing- he was particularly unlucky with injuries over two of those seasons. Those players were seasoned professionals and in the top echelons of the game worldwide - he lost the dressing room to the point of assaulting a player.
At hudds we all thought hed learn by his mistakes. When he came he showed he had a great eye for players- was able to spot untapped talent and make them into better players- think that's why he's signed turner.
He brought some ideas from aus which worked really well- he brought on those players but wasn't able to motivate them positively for the important games.
At the start of this season we had a forward crisis- players had to be utilised out of position, players were fresh and eager and the opposition weren't familiar with our new playing system and it went well.
Teams got wise realised we had a low weight pack and dealt with it. NB had no real plan b, started tinkering.
At widnes we had a centre injured and our captain LF missing- 2 players were drafted into the squad who could/should have been straight replacements. Instead he put our international centre to LF - a position he has NEVER played, moved winger to centre, fb to wing, new player at FB, and switched between 2 player whod played prop and second row for the start of the season in the other centre.
This tinkering continued- it was like musical chairs. We went from having the best defence in the league to shipping close to 40 a game because the defensive structure was a mess- players weren't sure what they were meant to be doing from from week to the next.
NB has had us playing some of our best rugby for a long time, I hope he's learnt from this mistake.

I don't think he is on gardening leave. All reports say he has left Hudds and there is no mention of gardening leave or suspension. He has left either by mutual consent ( I doubt this as he wouldn't get the remainder of his contract paid up ) or he was sacked.

Terms like sacked and mutual consent don't always cover the real terms of someone leaving. I'm sure Sven Goran-Eriksson when he left England was being paid by the FA until the end of his contract or until he got another one, If he takes a role elsewhere Hudds may be able to stop paying him. My thought was his choice might be a 3/4 month paid holiday or start at saints now . I know what i'd go for
