| Just read on sky sports news that he is going home at the end of this season for family reasons. Gutted, but am sure we can all understand his reasons. It has been, and continues to be, a pleasure to watch sia play for us.

| When it's family you have to let them go.
It's not like he's just come over and is using it as an excuse to be released from a bad deal.
The good thing is he has done it the right way, he's let the club know well in advance and so they can start looking for a replacement with this in mind, rather than some who would string clubs along and then it's too late for the club to get someone in.
He could be replaced internally, but I think we will bring in at least 1 second rower as I think Manu is up this year too.

I hope we do replace him and with somebody in the same type of mould as Sia. A fit, hard running, hard hitting agile Backrow.

| It's going to be hard to replace like for like, I just hope whoever comes in shows the commitment Sia does week after week.
It does not matter whether he is in the current side or the side under Royce, he gives 100% every week whether the team is playing well or poorly.
Without Sia some of those poor performances would have become cake walks for the opposition. A real pro with a real affinity for the club and the fans, sorry to see him going if it comes to that, but has certainly earned his corn.
We have plenty of backrowers currently, with Flanagan Wilkin and the young lads, but we need that x factor too. Lets hope the club have some irons in the fire.

He carried our pack for 2 years with the likes of perry bring utter rubbish. He was even our prop the other year.

Exactly. He'll leave a very big hole that will be difficult to fill. That's why we need to make hay this season whilst we have the attacking threat of Sia, Manu & Masoe in our ranks - we need to do the double.
I personally think Brown is using Sia wrong for us. He's being used too much as a battering ran to make the hard yards, when instead we should be using his devastating running strength a little further wide where he has a tad more space to operate in.

| It seems strange to me that brown announced he's going, then sia comes out and says no decision has been made, you'd of thought brown would only have said something if it's all sorted ...
I hope he sees out his contract, Flanaghan Wilkin et al are good, but lack X factor that we need. Anthony Watmough, and he can bring his mate Jamie with him

I agree! Sia should be used out wide and same with Manu. None have got good ball this year.
Sam Thaiday will do for year or two
Greenwood could be a devastating runner out wide as well. He makes breaks for a young Backrow and runs great lines (hate using great lines but he does).

1 xfactor replacement, stop playing lms at prop and keep him at loose, Flanaghan, greenwood and the others to step up, and we'd be sorted. Would still rather keep sia.

| Sia is gonna a huge loss and really hard to replace!
IMO he's been our best overseas signing simply because he consistently puts in top performances week in week out.
He is also a great bloke and clearly loves the club and It will have been a hard decision for him to leave.
I think josh Jones is moulding into a similar type player to what Sia is but obviously at the mo isn't as effective but that will come.
Maybe we use the salary cap and quota space to get a top class centre (if any available)

| Dale Ferguson will probably be looking for a new club next season once Bradford are relegated...

We love you Sia
DONT LEAVE US
