I judge the expected crowd by how near to my usual parking spec I can get 90 minutes before KO and how many people are in the ale queue in Touchlines.
The entire street was packed where I usually park (more so than the Wire game), so had to park around the corner, and the ale queue in Touchlines was out of the door (again more so than the Wire game). Well more than 13,500 on.

Nice to see Hudds fans turn up, in all my time that was the best ever away following from Hudds, 1500 WOWSERS, I dont think they took that many to the CC finals. Their team deserved their support, they had a good sing song, had plenty to sing about to. Hope the word gets out that the Giants are a decent outfit and their crowds increase, and MORE fans follow them away from home, I love it when an away team brings a load of fans.. well done hudds fans, dont drop back to the usual 100 - 300 please !

People stand in different places due to the weather, percentage of away support etc. The Eddy was nowhere near full but the Scaff was packed as I have known it for a couple of years or more.

That is true but in both Wire and Wigoon matches I have been unable to stand under the Eddington End roof whereas on Friday I was easily able to locate a spot at least 10-15m in from the edge and there was plenty of room around us.
