I'm sure the trophey was no consolation what so ever to graham or any of the saints players or fans last year! for what it's worth I think graham has no chance this year, it's a popularity comp and graham has maybe shown himself up a bit this season, some of his actions won't sit well with his peers.'"
I agree graham has shown himself up at times but it's not a popularity comp at all!
It's who's had biggest impact on the season and played well through the year.
IMO graham has been all that.

| I think at the end of the day the nod will go to Hodgson. Judging from the interviews with players who made the dream team quite a number said their vote would be for Hodgson. Most of the others seemed to go to Graham and an odd one for Moz.

| James I rated so Highly, but this season the game Potter has made him play has ruined him, he looks so jaded compared to last season. I was surprised he was in the final 3 nominations.
For me it has to be Brett Hodgson all round he has been heads above both Graham and Morley and that is why the RL Writers give him their award.

| When is the poll taken? If not yet, the natural human tendency towards 'recency' will work against that skinny bloke who has had some shaky moments against us and Catalans; and Moz hasn't been seen on telly for a while. So, a stand-out performance by Jammer on Saturday and the trophy's his again.

Potter should never have expected James to have to play the game he has, it took away all his natural ability, if you have never seen how jaded he looks then the "rose coloured glasses" are doing a good job.
Questions have to be asked when a forward is released and then brought back a year later, you can't expect young lads to run a pack.

You don't need to ask me twice St pete - LOL - Potter as coach should have made clear to the Management when he needed someone in the pack not have to put some pressure on a young player, St Helens are not really the big spenders?
