I read that Leeds, Leigh and Saints had 'spoken to him' and that his preferred choice was Leigh. Where is it that he's signed for us?

Very very strange signing if true and more evidence that KC has lost his mind.

He looked like was going to be top player when first came on the scene but seemed to get fat, unfit and pick up injuries.

That would be an odd signing given the recruitment we've already done in the pack.

I really can't see this being true. He didn't play a single game for anyone last season did he? It would be a ridiculous signing.

Added to that he's got his testimonial for Warrington against Huddersfield on the 1st Feb, so I really can't see anything being announced about his future until after that?

A 1 year loan deal is perhaps the only way this might be true. Warrington clearly want him off their cap, he'd have signed for Leigh months ago but couldn't because he'd take them over the cap.

We're close to finalising a back rower from overseas, Harrison certainly isn't coming to St.Helens

He came to us for the last month or so of the season and played 3 games at Loose Forward. To say he'd been out injured for a full year, he looked better than I thought he would tbh. He averaged about 26 tackles a game and around 87 meters. With a proper Pre-season behind him he'd improve on that.
Like you say his Testimonial is the sticking point in him signing for anyone atm. I reckon he'll get that out of the way and move on to Leigh by the sounds of things.

You seem pretty close to these things so I trust you are right. I think most are just baffled by the prospect of another back rower but I suspect that KC just doesn't quite trust Greenwood enough at this stage. That's despite his elevation in squad number terms.

Am relieved about Ben Harrison - that would have made even less sense.

Im not claiming Ben Harrison has signed. It isent any exclusive from me. Seen plenty of people refering to it on facebook and hear say. Usually with rugby league its not far from the truth when it gains momentum.

Report in rugby league world states Elliott Whitehead might be heading back to SL. Just checked his instagram and he is back in the uk and has just recently started following Walmsley. Tommy Lee and Matty Smith.
