| I hate finals like this, were you want both teams to lose. It's like trying to decide which Williams sister you'd rather sleep with.
I'm sure it'll be a great game but what are people's predictions?
I'm going for Leeds 23-16 Wigan, with hopefully a really dubious decision against Wigan that makes Wane spit his dummy out.

Haha this has got to be the best likeness to a decision between Wigan or Leeds I have ever seen...unfortunately the third option of "neither and castration" wouldn't do much good for tomorrow's game
I'm going to go against a lot here and say out of the 2 I would prefer Wigan to win...purely for the fact I am stuck working in Leeds and have had to endure (since mid-season) about how they were going to win everything, they are better than our 2006 team, they are best team ever etc. and the arrogance of them is unreal - I would love to see them fall at the last hurdle (although I must stress it is possibly that I want Leeds to lose more than Wigan, than wanting Wigan to win more than Leeds)

| There's never any hesitation for me; I'd shout for the Taliban Tigers against Wigan. I hope they get stuffed and we get to see Wane's big ugly sulking face all over the screen all night.
However, I have a feeling Wigan will nick it. I can see Leeds going ahead early doors but Wigan will pinch it in last 10 mins.

Sounds like one of Marwan Koukash's franchise ideas that.

| Supporting Leeds to the hilt. I also feel Wigan will beat them. They are like us last year, their semi final was so easy it was effectively a bye. Leeds were flogged and lucky to win their semi, so they will be hurting. When your best forwards are 38 and 39 and your dangerous individuals are almost all over 30, that's got to have an impact.
A Leeds win would also be the moral victory, they've been the best side all year and have played the game the right way. Wigan are still playing anti-rugby and are horrendous to watch. Some of the stuff coming from Wane and O'Loughlin has been utterly ridiculous and as disrespectful as you can get. I think Wane has been showing his true feelings, after being muted by the club PR line post-final last year. All the 'It was a moral victory' stuff is just pathetic, punching an unconscious man is a criminal offense and a very serious one at that, how he didn't end up in the slammer is beyond me. If someone did that on a night out in front of the Police, they wouldn't be out by now that's for sure. But rather than condemn him, they are claiming to be the victims in it and lauding Ben Flower as the hero of the piece, something Sky are also guilty of, rather than the 'lucky to be playing at all' dumbass he is in reality.
It's going to be horrendous viewing, Phil Clarke there with his tissues at the ready. Sky really shouldn't be allowing that, time for a complete overhaul of their commentary and presentation teams.

| It goes against the grain but I would rather see the pies win, the amount of losses in big games to Leeds over the last decade has took it's toll. Our friends from Greater Manchester simply haven't inflicted the same kind of misery in that period.
I also don't want to see the 'Whinos' win their first (yes first) League and Cup double. (so much for being this so-called huge 'super club')
I'm away all day Saturday so won't be even be watching it and will hardly be cheering if I get news the goons have won. Particulary as some of their fans are still spouting over on their board we somehow won it be default last season. But I think the extra days rest, plus a Semi Final win against feeble opposition, will count for so much on the day. The pies by 8-10 points.
That said, I will still have a sly chuckle at Wane, Flower etc should Leeds get a result.

| I don't buy into this idea that Leeds will be at a disadvantage because of the intensity of the game against us. Playing in high intensity games sets the standards higher than easy run outs against underperforming/poor opposition. The Challenge Cup final showed that imo. I've also heard of it being said of the NRL and that makes them teams more battle hardened.

It's a medical certainty that it takes Leeds' better players longer to recover than most sides. Peacock, Kylie, Burrow, McGuire and Sinfield are their key men and they are all old men.

I fear you are correct.....but one thing we should never do is write this team off. Saints and Leeds gave us a match worthy of the GF last week: two teams gave everything possible and it was a pity there had to be a loser. Leeds are down on significant numbers too (Aiton, JJB and Stevie Ward - plus Sutcliffe - who would all be in the 1st choice 17) but I really do not want to see Wane's smug face vindicating his team's 'ugly' slowing the PTB tactics.
Hopefully the Leeds players will be also suitably inspired to avoid that nightmare scenario.

| Leeds for me, too. Firstly, they are not Wigan (and that's reason enough). Secondly, it's been a privilege to watch their key players, Sinfield and Peacock especially, despite the pain they've inflicted on us. I'd like to think this is Sinfield's last hurrah, but I have a suspicion that there might be more pain to come in the shape of Sinfield as a clever and successful Leeds coach of the future.

| I see Matty Smith is at it as well.
Quote: Matty Smith "I think the courage and bravery he has shown, especially when it first happened, to come back the way he has and to play the way he has this year, shows his character. He’s a fantastic player and he’s a great bloke as well. He deserves it. He’s put up with some stuff over the course of the year. He’s our mate at the end of the day, we don’t want to see a team-mate as down as he was after that Grand Final. We’re here to put it right on Saturday and he can put that past him. He’s come back a stronger person and a stronger player.'"
Well, what a hero. What bravery he showed when he was mercilessly sent off, ruining his hard work and dreams. How fitting would it be to see him finally right the wrong and win at OT.
I'd expect such utter nonsense from Wane, as he hasn't got the intelligence to do anything with any grace or thought. But Matty Smith? I guess he's gone full Goon hasn't he.
