Well deserved MOTM brilliant all be it against poor opposition.

High praise from KC on Sky who apparently, and I quote, " doesn't want to bum him up too much, what with him being a young boy."

Interesting comments.

Always rated Greenwood. I actually tipped him to be the best of the Young forwards we have had come thru.

He has the ability to run good lines and bust tackles.

Thompson also played very well with some hard graft. The young ones in the pack are looking very strong and adding impact to the team.

Never seen a player run the lines this lad does on a regular basis. Breaks the line constantly.

What a fantastic prospect it is to have a pack rotation of Richards, Thompson, Greenwood and Savelio - all of them are looking a class above icon_smile.gif

Agreed pal, huge talents.

Greenwood has done very well. He didn't make many Saints fans' 17's in pre-season but he's trained hard, done everything asked of him and he's been given an opportunity in the back-row. He's physically much more solid now and runs some good lines. Looks like he has decent pace as well and he's opening teams up and is making breaks down the left side.

Interesting selections ahead for KC with regards to the back-row; lots to consider, lots of different attributes and abilities to select from as well. Good issue to have.

As well as being talented, Greenwood is BIG. He's likely to really beef up over the next couple of years, too.

As well as all the excellent running, did we see how aggressive he was in defence!?

The boys done good.

Was very impressive yesterday.

I recall they used to say Wilkin runs great lines, so lets just remember he will have top games like last night but there will be others were he is less prominent. But if he keeps working hard there can be no complaints.

I mentioned him about three years ago when he played in the academy game against Wigan at Orrell. He was outstanding that day and has started this season really well. I was surprised he didn't get a bit more game time last season. Did he have an injury?

That happens with all young players and we as spectators have to show a bit of patience with them.

No. As with the year before, Brown played the youngsters a lot early on in the season but then more sparingly towards the end. The manner of which implied some sort of purpose, but I can't be sure.
