| Only managed to watch the game in patches because I'm abroad and skygo only worked every now and again.
Missed the while second half.
Any way. It all looks good this year.
Sort out discipline and silly errors and figure the strongest lineup saints are on to win something this year.
Nothing less than an undefeated home record will be good enough for me
COME ON SAINTS.

| Bit daft. We'll probably lose to Hull.

If hull tighten up there defence and can put the 2pts over there'll be a few teams to come home with egg on there face this year!

If Warrington can just start scoring more points than their oppositions there'll be a few teams to come home with egg on their face this year

| Those expectations are a tad unrealistic. Hard to tell if it's tongue in cheek.
I'd be happy with an 80% home record. It's sport nothing is 100% predictable especially from one game.

| An unbeaten home record is something to hope for but not something to expect. Some of our greatest title winning sides have been beaten at home.

I agree it's pretty tough to win all home games but the good title winning teams don't lose many at home. It important to take 2 points of the likes of Wigan, Leeds, Warrington etc at home if we want to finish top.

| If we win 10 or 11 out if the 13 I'll be very happy. If we beat Wigan, wire and Leeds at home that'd be nice too!
Going off just one performance is very hard, but a very successful season looks very possible

I think we have more chance of doing that at the Halliwell Jones stadium!
It would be better if we bring back the good old days of 80-0 and 75-0.

I don't expect to beat you next week but if we can tidy a few things up from last night I think it will a cracking game. Two big packs, two new and highly promising Aussie halves, and two young exciting back lines. Not to mention a tribute to Prekkie. Can't wait.

| Whilst the OP is perhaps optimistic we should be looking to improve our hom form this season and turn LP into a bit of a fortress. Apart from a couple of games against Wigan and Leeds, we've lost the majority of the big games at home.

| I think the original poster is on a wind up
We may improve on last year but we will lose a bunch of home games
At times last season we were absolutely dire and saved some of the particularly bad stuff for LP
One decent win doesn't change the fact that we've a lot of scope for improvement

| It is tongue in cheek, but I think it is important to have a good home record this year and get some excitement into langtree park.
The atmosphere of Knowsley road hasn't quite been achieved at lp yet.
