As a 'neutral', I thought Lomax had a good game, but it was a great team performance, outstanding defence at times

The defence as a team was outstanding no doubt. I thought we could have defended all day. My worry has always been the attack, but Sia provided that when he came on. It was not by guile,but sheer determination and hard work from Sia,

I can't recall all the tries, but he certainly had a key hand in 3 of them. I thought he made the difference from the game being say 12-14 at the end, to us breaking away.

3. Lomax/Makinson (can't split the two)

Special mention to Sia who did have an impact when he came on but I think the performances of the players above were more influential overall.

Great dummy but I think he was pretty poor. Him and lance was invisable at times.

With a special mention for T. Puletua who was well in contention for a top 3 berth
