| How far away is the train station from Langtree park? Thinking about getting the train down for our monday night meet on the 6th of August.

| Depends which station?
St Helens Central is literally 5 minute walk.
St Helens Junction is a 10 minute bus ride.
Lea Green is a 5 minute bus ride.

| Can you get to Warrington from central?
I'd think it would be lee green. It's not too far as Mistermoo said. Could walk it too if your feeling fit.

No, you can't get to St Helens stations from Warry, unless you go via wigoon or Liverpool.

He didn't say he was coming from Warrington, which is why I gave options for all three stations.

True but unless he is coming from Liverpool or Wigan he is going to have to change.

| I'm not from St Helens but Isn't there a railway line that goes right past Langtree Park? What about there? That's definitly a railway bridge at the side of the ground.

That line is disused, but the railway company will not sell the land 'just in case'.

I live quite close to that disused railway line at the Sutton end and word has it round here that the line will be reinstated sometime in the future. Albeit not in short term.

| The easiest way may be to get the train to Earlestown, then catch the 34 to St Helens. Returning you can catch the 34 bus leaving 22.25 arriving earlestown at 22.44, then rail replacement coach leaving 23.20 arriving 23.45

| Apparently there is a train from Bank Quay Central to Central with one change at Wigoon North Western.
Outwards it 18.50 getting in to Central at 19.25 pm and coming back there is a train leaving at 22.11 to get back to Warry B Q at 23.02 pm.
All for £8.70 return and no buses.
I'm tempted to leave the car at home and go on that myself.
