| Sadly we can't go on Friday so our season ticket seats are available if anyone would like to buy them for the one game?
They are 2 adults and one junior North Stand near the back right on the half way line. I'm guessing the club would let you upgrade the junior to an adult ticket if you pay the extra but I don't know how you'd do it.
You'll need to collect them from my mum's in Dentons Green on Thursday night and drop the books back off there over the weekend. Obviously as I'm handing over our precious season tickets I'll need to see some form of photo id just to make me feel better.
Anybody interested?

| Yikes. You could get 4 figures if you find the right buyer.

| Just a quick point can you offload season tickets per match????
I would have thought that it would not be possible as you will need the bar code to get in and thats on the card.
If it was the case that anyone could use it, then everyone could buy concession season tickets using an older adult and then give it to a relation who is at the standard age bracket.

He's obviously planning on getting his season tickets back after the game, hence the requirement to provide photo ID so he can track down and mutilate them if they don't return them.
I don't understand your reference to concession season tickets. Of course the bar code allows you and you could get in with the wrong ticket, I've used my son's most games this season as we don't look who they belong to before we go in, we just dish one out to each person. It's always been like that though, I was on a concession season ticket (Junior) from 1984 to 2010 at Knowsley Road and was never pulled up about it despite the beard, beer gut and gray hair.

OP's name will be on the tickets, the person who is taking them for the game will merely give them back after the game. IIRC they don't check your ID when you pass through the gates to prove you are the SP holder.
Happens all the time at Football matches when people can't go and offer their tickets to other fans (usually to keep loyalty points for bigger games when a large number of points is required to claim a ticket)

| I don't understand what all the fuss is about, I'm not trying to run some sort of scam which is depriving the club of a revenue making opportunity, the tickets are bought and paid for on the 5 year deal and the seats will otherwise be empty its as simple as that.
I've not checked since I posted last night so I think it's only fair to approach people in the chronological order they've contacted me by replying to the post or PMing me.

It is the 'buy them for one game' bit that is the stumbling block.
By doing that you are depriving the club of money. It is quite simple. The club owns the seat for your season pass and has leased it to YOU and only YOU. By you selling it, and potentially making a profit, for one game, it could be argued, that you are touting your seat to someone else, someone who would have otherwise bought a ticket.
You will most likely get away with it but I think if you are caught Saints are well within their rights to refuse you entry in future and take back the seat. I think.
The bit in bold I am less sure about.

The game is sold out, so the club is not missing out on any money. Anyway, surely as you have bought the ticket then you own the rights to admission. If the club does not think that this happens then they are naive as it happens all the time.

Well this is different to a lot of NFL teams who sell the seat at the stadium (usually from many thousands of $) as a PSL (Personal seat License) and then the person has bought the seat, owns the seat and can, therefore, sell the seat to a person.
Saints own the seat at the stadium and they will have said not to pass on the season ticket for a price, I would wager, at the start of the season.
Imagine I'm Blockbuster and if I lent you a copy of my Kill Bill DVD for a year. You pay me £10 for a yearly subscription and then you lend it to mate who pays you £10 or £11. You are getting money (in some way) off my commodity. It isn't as elegant an idea as I would like. The important part is that Saints say they don't want people doing it and so they are well within their rights to cancel your season ticket if you go back on the agreement set out when you bought it, which you will be.
Saints are probably aware it happens but it is the system they have chosen, if people fight the system, they shouldn't be surprised when it fights back. I doubt Saints will care though.
