Wigan have lots of tickets left hundreds have been found dumped in a skip back of there south stand after friday nights game.

How did you not expect this game not to sell out weeks before, you have had over 10k season ticket holders playing your biggest rivals at the 1st ever derby game at LP. |

I expected this to happen to be fair. Not everyone checks the internet as often as some of us. I've only been posting since 2009 but I would not have known when sales opened online if I had not been on here. As it was it would make no difference to me. But if someone like my mum or dad where not season ticket holders, they would probably only pop down to the club shop around now to check for Wigan tickets.
I remember a few seasons ago they tried to get tickets for a game, but could not as Saints did not have them on sale until the games that came first had been played. This selling a month in advance is fairly new for Saints, but I think it;s worked quite well so far.

Saints have now entirely forgotten that there are actually fans who are not online. Such people do exist but Saints never do anything to reach them. |
