Is taking a bit of a flogging on the Monday night review tonight. He presents wobbly defensive arguments at the best of times but so far tonight he's come up with a couple of gems:

1. Wigan had so many injuries - Fielden and Mossop.
2. None of the Wigan fans thought Wigan were gonna win last Saturday.

Now I am not an Alan Rooney fan but it's been fantastic to listen to Alan tearing a strip off him tonight. Muppet!

Just listening, sounds like things may have become heated off mike between Alan Roney and the Wigan bigot.
Listened last Thursday night when he "bigged up" Wigan.
Talk about backtracking!!!
He is the typical Wiganer.

Fielden has only played a couple of games all season. Surprised he didn't mention Gleeson and the 'unjust' banning of Hock.

Can we mention Pryce, Perry, Gardener etc or are those inconvenient?

Oh don't worry he really took some hammer off Rooney tonight and there was a definite tone to Alan's voice as he knew, and said, that Ted was talking tripe. Even Alan Jackson was bagging him saying the same.

I never take him seriously anyway as he does talk utter cra@p but it was hilarious to listen to him squirming tonight. I lost count of the number of times he came out with his catchphrase 'there's no dewt abewt it'.

Priceless.

he said Wigan had no chance to get to the final, They were never going to make it. Last week he said they would win. He's changed his tune now that they have lost.

Every team has if we're being fair but this guy does you no favours whatsoever - he's cringeable every week on the radio. He was a whopper last night.

But he's no worse than Allan Rooney, although that doesn't make it right.
