I heard last night that Saints are releasing Foster at the end of the season even though theres still a year on his contract.

Apparently due to training ground bust ups with a Eastmond and arguing with Royce (cant see as he's still been playing regularly )

I sincerly hope and it probably just is a rumour buyt i just thought i would share what i heard......will be a big blow if its true.

From what I hear Foster claimed that he'd had better offers from other clubs in order to get a pay rise and said he would be leaving if saints did not match this offer. But the coaching staff made him aware that if this was the case then it would be an illegal approach and both he and the club who'd approached him would be in trouble. He then came clean with them about his true motives. Again, this is only another rumour that I heard

I tend to take the approach of not believing things till they happen, it could be bull or it could be true, we shall just have to wait.

I'm sure some on here would be over joyed to see Foster leave. Whether they would be pleased with his replacement is another matter.

Not to mention he is doing pretty well on the try scoring charts for a slow bloke who can't beat a man, playing inside a guy who can't play centre and has no qualities as a centre in a back line that should be replaced from 1-5 possibly 6 and 7 too depending on when you read this forum.

I wonder if James Roby will have bust ups with someone? It's just that there is a theme developing here: first name beginning with J and with an 'ay' sound. There must be a conspiracy afoot methinks.

I wonder, though, if Jamie is going to Wigan or Warrington? Usually it's Warrington but given that Wigan are now desperate to see Saints finished, and given that Jamie once wept when watching Wigan lose a Challenge Cup final, it could be Wigan. It will begin with W anyway.

Cant see him leaving Saints to be honest! He's one of few that actually looks passionate in the Saints jersey.
