Let's hope that unit isn't the cheap plywood unit that it appears to have been in the past.

The lad is talented and has had a rough ride from those that remember him being knocked out by Burgess but not the other 10 or so games he played that year, but he's only young and he needs a run of games.

Gareths always been a big lad because of his sheer height but i have never seen him so big.

Has he finally decided it's safe enough to come out of hiding because Mr Burgess is still 2,000 miles away?

Often went into hiding as a youngster if he had to play against St. Pats or St. Judes.

I thought he was superb the month or two before that match at Odsal.

I often did the same when my Dad wanted to take me to pieland, I don't blame my Dad for his parents living in Wigan at the time he was born, (same time as Rogues)

I think he always looked pretty solid when he played, which, given his age was promising.
I'd say a dual contact to spend at least the first half of the season somewhere like leigh would do him the world of good, just like it helped Emmitt kick on.

As for him hiding, didn't he captain his England age group a couple in the past? I find it hard to think that a prop that goes missing would manage to get that gig. Besides Rogues, i'm pretty sure I remeber you saying you rated him highly in the past.

This lad is Gash...and should be no where near our first team squad.....................he will be at Pilks recs soon thats about his level!!!

No, the two props at Saints that I rated were Liam Bland and Danny Cooper, but both appear to have disappeared from the scene.

A friend who had junior coaching experience at Saints and a couple of lads who had played with and against Frodsham told me about him going missing (literally) against the likes of St. Pats and St. Judes when he was younger.
