| i think you all need to get a grip and realise, 1) he had a great game 2) when did he have his first team debut 3 years ago?! no half way through the season 3) he is just turn 20 and finally 4) he was the best out of a bad bunch tonight!!

| I thought Foster did well on the big stage. He was tested with a couple of kicks, and sure he may have been scared by the bigger, more experienced players bearing down on him. Everyone makes some mistakes. He handled things pretty well.
I think he can improve a LOT. There's a lot of talent in the youth end of Stains.

Are you for real ? Is this post a joke ?
Jamie foster is a 19yr old lad who has come in prob a year to early but has done very very well and played his way into the saints starting 17.
Tonight he took everything wigan thru at him, he took some very good kicks and reads the game very very well for such a young lad.
The fact you say he's scared either means your a childish 8yr old or know nothing at all about rugby league.

| I thought he was one of our better performers.
For such an inexperieinced kid he did well. Fielded the kicks and also had a couple of good runs out wide late in the game.
Hopeflly he will progress into the centres as he matures, as thats his natural position.

He didn't back himself twice when put through one on one down the wing. He opted to kick both times. I was very surprised, especially with Carmont chasing him.

I was sat right near where foster went thru, no way he would have scored on the outside but should have took the tackle rather than kick.
