I don't think Jammer needs the extra workload, but it's clear he's the top man in the side.

Jon Wilkin - Time for him to get out of his comfort zone and take on some responsibility, he might just stop giving away stupid penalties then as well.

Wellens will be captain, it would be the obvious choice, but also it depends who the new coach wants as captain.

Yea, Wello is my first pick as his blood is saints and he has the passion needed for a skipper.

As an outsider i'd be amazed if James Graham wasn't offered the job if only to try and tempt him to stay. That shouldn't be the major reason I suppose though as he's the heartbeat of this Saints side, the best prop forward in superleague(and possibly the world) and one of the worlds premier players so he seems an obvious choice.

Any sort of chance of getting the guy to stay at Saints mind should surely be used!!!

wello all the way, graham doesnt have the right frame of mind to be a captain, and leon doesnt do enough verybaly on the field

It's gotta be Wellens for me, he's Saints through and through, as is Graham. For me, the only problem with Graham is he has a tendency to open his mouth a bit too much.

honestly, if it keeps Jammer here on a 4 yr deal, give him the captancy

Totally agree with this, he is already the player doing the most talking, and appears to be the natural leader on the field. Giving him the responsibitly of being the captain may also encourage him to calm down a bit, or at least give him an excuse to talk to the ref!

Wello should be captain then jammer.

Maybe KC will still be captain
