| I thought he was really funny when he kept on hitting his hand after they scored that try. He's a good guy is John Kear and he obviously puts his heart and soul into his job.

| He would do well at Saints. He'd be able to motivate the lazy bunch of wasters anyway.

Yeah, he's only conceded 102 points against Wigan so far this season.
You complain about Saints being inconsistent then want John Kear at Saints? Around good wins against Hull and Crusaders they have lost 46-14 to Hull KR, lost to Catalans and lost 48-6 to Wigan.
Sounds like he's great at getting players up for every game, really it does. I'm starting to think you might be some sort of goldfish, with a memory that cannot cope with anything before the most recent match you watched. Either that, or you're just clueless.

He's at Wakefield though. Although they have a much better backline that we do (Which fool said that ) their squad and youth setup isn't anywhere near as strong as ours. Still he manages to get them into the Playoffs. Wonder coach. Wonder. Coach.

Wakey have just beaten Hull FC, which is something we couldn't do with a full team out! Also, John Kear has had to rebuild his team mid season. If we had lost our key playmaker and goal kicker upon which we had built our team not even halfway through the season plus at least one of our more dynamic props (homesickness - wuss), how would we have fared? People on here are saying we lost on Friday because we had our playmakers out. Imagine what we would have been like, in that case, had we had no playmakers from about round 8.

Minus O'Meley and Long - who played in both our defeats. No Long, hmm that's interesting. Anyone might think missing playmakers might have an impact on performance . . . .
Which full team are you on about anyway - the one that was missing Meli then lost players to injury (ending up with Roby on the wing IIRC) during the game or the one that was missing Gardner/Soliola/Eastmond/Puletua/wilkin/Faasavalu . . . . .

Ahhh, so you do seem to admit that losing key playmakers has an impact. Excellent. So like building your season on Eastmond/Pryce/Cunningham as playmakers then them not being available. Wonder when that happened.

You mean like Maurie?

Probably about 3rd and in the semi of the cup.

They have won matches with Long and O'Meley missing.

The one we had for the first half of the very first game of the season. Remember? We could only see half the pitch. We'd lost Soliola by halftime. I think we were also losing by halftime, if memory serves.
Quote: FearTheVee "Ahhh, so you do seem to admit that losing key playmakers has an impact. Excellent. '"
That isn't what I said and you know it. I said other people on here are saying that. The only impact missing halves has is lack of creativity and maybe a lack of communication but there should be others standing up to do that. If they can be bothered.
Quote: FearTheVee "You mean like Maurie?'"
I believe Maurie made it through our first match against Hull. He was injured later on. And I'm not sure he's dynamic anyway. He hasn't been for a while. I think it would be like losing Graham.
Quote: FearTheVee "Probably about 3rd and in the semi of the cup.'"
Well, I would agree. However, like I said, others on here have blamed our injuries for losing matches. I don't. But I was putting forward an alternative scenario based on what people here have been saying in response to your derogatory post about Kear.
Personally, I think Saints have a much more talented squad than do Wakey, which is why I don't see injuries or lack of playmakers as an excuse for being unable to catch, pass and tackle, and a lack of effort.
