| Leaving aside the numerous chances we blew today,it was another triumph for Potter's coaching.Even when they were down to 12 we continue to drive the ball up the middle. Its no wonder we can't move the ball out wide-its been coached out of them

| I thought the biggest mistake your lot made all day today was hitting the lead runners all the time. You had overlaps alot, yet instead of going behind the leads to player who can hit the overlap, you hit the lead runners time and time agian. Poor.

| The problem is we dont have a Amos Roberts or Pat Richards to expose the overlap. We have Chris Dean and Matt Gidley who have no pace or zip between them.
We blew 5 or 6 chances today.

| I'm no friend of Potter's but today was nothing to do with Potter. It was all to do with the team. I don't think they could have played their way out of a paper bag today, the amount of dropped ball, penalties given away and scoring opportunities botched. It was a very disappointing and frustrating match, aside from the loss. I hope they feel suitably embarrassed by their performance because they should do, or certainly most of them should.

Exactly. Wigan were poor, we were worse. A frustrating game in which neither side excelled.

| Did Ade Gardner make any mistakes? I don't remember him doing. I only remember him actually playing well and working hard. Was I imagining that?

| Wilkin was good today, Pryce and Graham and even Puletua too. The execution when on their line was the issue. We turned a 20 point win into a defeat such was the lack of composure and decision making when it mattered.
Had Slong been around today we'd have won by a good distance.

Puletua let two tries go and one I cannot forgive him for because he dropped a good ball when actually over the tryline. So he wasn't good in my book. Jammer was better once he stopped passing those stoopid balls although he was undermined by that high shot. I hope he gets a break on Monday and Fozzy plays instead. Pryce worked hard although he dropped the ball a couple of times. Wilkin was good and worked hard but gave away at least two penalties for high shots.
As I say, I can only remember Gardner not botching anything and not giving anything away. I'm struggling to think of anyone else who actually had what I would call a good game. But perhaps I'm blinkered by the remnants of frustration and disappointment I felt at the Saints performance.
I agree with you about Seany babes. Kyle may as well not have been on the pitch, except for that one excellent kick which was caught and scored by Ade.

Agreed

No tragedies. Took his try well. Worked hard but never threatened , but unfair to single him out
for a lack of potency , he was not alone.
Quote: Smurf "Wilkin was good today.'"
Not really. Gave away too many penalties and didn't direct
traffic from 6 in the first half.
Second Half in the back row, with his support running slippers
on, did some good things.

I'm guessing you didn't tape the Hull KR FC game? Long was terrible to day and would have contributed even less than Eastmond did.

| Think we should have had Foz instead of Dixon on the bench. Our MOM was Gardner. Defended well and took his try well.
When Carmont was injured and hopping about on one leg why-o-why did we go the to the opposite wing?
I don't think we can blame Potter. I don't think we have much brains in the team

Yes it became obvious pretty early on that we were not going to win by just bashing them down the middle.
The worst thing for me is that because of the result everyone in the press will be thinking wigan are world beaters instead of how poor we have become at times under HP.
I can't fault the players efforts but the words headless and chickens comes to mind.
