Get real.
Bradford's defence sounded non-existent and their attack sounded non-existent.
Let's play an opposition with its act together at home before we decide whether we have actually turned a corner or not.

| We've bagged them all week so we've got to give them the praise they deserve.
The bulls may be poor but i didn't even think we would win, never mind put a score on them.
Well done potter and the lads.

who said anything about turning the corner?....to put 38 points on bradford at odsal is a good win..(i'm the first to call them when they play bad)...so get real yourself and give em a bit of credit.

Maybe they were wearing slippers because it LOOKED like saints totally dominated and never let them in the game.

Who cares? It's 2 points.
Was it just a off day last week against hull?
Any win at bradford by 38-6 is good.

I do. I want to enjoy watching Saints.

I don't think so, no. I think it was a continuation of what we saw for the second half of last season. I won't be convinced until I've seen them play for myself against an opposition that has its act together.

Bradford were very poor. Judging by the commentary they had no defence or attack, but we did let them have a try at the death, just as we were doing last season.

| Bit like ours last week then eh?
Lets not forget a few things about last week; disruption in preparation leading to kick off with a 15 minute delay following a period of uncertainty wether the game would go ahead, the returning Sean who will have been THE most hyped up and motivated man on the pitch not to mention several players making their debut, poor weather conditions making things difficult for certain players (Wello) to field kicks, and two injuries fairly early into the game. Yes Hull may have suffered the same problems with pre-ko prep and the fog but they merely adapted better.
Compare that to today's game. Maybe its not a corner turner, but it just goes to show you shouldn't write the season off after the first game.

I would have took this score before the game. Without a doubt.

It takes too much time to go through posts, but I recall you saying something along the lines of "if we go to Bradford and win well playing good rugby, I'll give credit where's it's due". Clearly I'm paraphrasing, but what's changed?
Any win by that margin away from home is a good result. Hasn't half your complaint been about us not scoring enough points or entertaining? Sounds like we scored some good tries (one length of the field effort described as "magnificent"icon_wink.gif.
I'm not sure what else they can do. Swallow hard and give some credit to a team who clearly performed well.
To criticise them for conceding a last second try when 38-0 up is churlish in the extreme too IMO.

So I will wait and see for myself what they are playing like, when I next get the chance to see them play (next home game).
Sure, we have won. Great. Scuse me for not jumping on the bandwagon. This could simply be papering over the cracks with Bradford being so poor. I want to see for myself how we are playing before I will feel confident enough to consider that we might have turned a corner and be looking more like the Saints I enjoy watching. I don't think that's unreasonable.
And as I've said to you before, your opinion of me doesn't matter so you really don't need to waste finger energy posting insults.
