(Other Magic Fixtures: Hull v Harlequins, Bradford v Crusaders, Warrington v Salford, Leeds v Wakefield, Wigan v Huddersfield, Castleford v Catalans)

Our game, the Wigan game and possibly the Cas game are the only competitive ones. What a stupid idea.
They should make it a 9s tournament and invite some fun teams like Goroka Gators and Florida Flo Riders and the Jamaican Jamsters. Make it more fun, have pole dancers and free cake.
I can almost imagine Jammer's pre-trip press rant.

If the top 7 along with the winners on the championship are given a bye to this stage you can make the draw now with 8 qualifier balls. So we know half the teams that are there.

All games are competitive, it drops a game from the season for the sl teams, potential for terrestrial broadcast, a realsitic showpiece for NL clubs to get to etc etc.
