| Due to the fact Tony Smiths one of a number of inexcusable blunders not to select Rob Burrow in the squad means that unfortuatley we have to stick with McGuire. Burrow should be at number 7 Tomkins at 6 and Eastmond at 3. McGuire isnt International class and will never be whilst Ive got a hole in my ass!

| Tony Smith could have selected Leon Pryce at 6, but I understand he's still missing, last seen around 6:00pm on Grand Final night.
Let me know when he turns up again, because Danny McGuire needs someone to help lace his boots, and there is a slim chance Pryce may be able to manage it.

Danny McGuire needs alot more help than simply having his boots laced, both he and Sinfield need to realise that it is ok to pass to someone even if they don't play for Leeds.

That's because he can't manage it on his own. He hasn't learnt how to tie laces yet. (Or how to play rugby league unless it is with his own club team.)

It's a good thing they don't do stuff like that in the grand final isn't it?

That would be the 3 time superleague champion Leeds Rhinos.
Just remind me who they beat at Old Trafford these past 3 years again?

Lets all just calm down a bit.
The fact of the matter is McGuire was poor. However in certain circumstances certainly at Leeds with a dominant pack and above the SL average team around him he's good. It is clear though that in the international arena with less room and a less all-round dominant team he is found wanting.
This is not McGuire bashing or Leeds bashing just fact.
And to prove it's not Leeds bashing I'll add that the very same thing could probably be said for Roby - although Roby is excellent in defence he doesn't offer enough going forward at this level.
Said my piece!

| Biggest cheer of the day was the sub of Mc Guire, never seen a crowd rise to its feet and applaud the subbing of a player...

well at least thats a contructed arguement and well put if I may say so.
I could make counter points but I would be wasting my time here
discussion in the face of prejudice and arrogance is never fruitful

That's because he'd had such a great game.

Must have been, I was gutted he went off, he was really directing Australia around the field well.
