| WTF why is O'Loughan playing at centre?, so we play kids to build to the future and then someone who has never played centre (to my knowledge) and surely wont play again esp for england.
and with that said its the same as Lee Smith to join up with the team, we wont even be in rugby league at christmas and hes in the team what a load of $*!&
rant over

| I'm feeling your pain. It's embarassing. We're obviously behind the big 2 but we don't half make an embarassing mess out of the international scene.
On Sky Sports 2 you've got a packed house watching a Union Champions League game. That sport is so well run in comparison to League its untrue.

| Pube head's defence will be great in the second row against the Aussies and Kiwis.

totally agree . Smith shouldnt be in the squad (he's made a choice to leave the game and now he's finished with Leeds he should be off to Union) and O'Loughlin should never be playing centre at International Level. Personally I'd have in the second row.

| This wasn't international level, this was akin to Northern Rail Cup stuff. I got bored after 20 minutes and watched the Union.
Plus, if Paul Sykes is an international full back, there is hope for me!

I'm half watching it. tbh it's just Mickey Mouse stuff. From the very begining with the botched up national anthems it's looked poor.
And yeah Paul Sykes is a joke

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| O'loughlin has had a great game at centre but he will play SR or Loose in the 4 nations.
Sam Tomkins = outstanding 3 tries and 3 assists.
Paul Sykes has had one of the worst international performances I have ever seen.

Sykes is just not good enough - I'm not even sure he's good enough for the Dulls.
The Troll's played very well but this 'game' is just a training match

You can't call Tomkins outstanding for that performance. You could pick any half back from a SL academy and put them in against that lot and they'd score plenty.
NL2 stuff that tonight, England were dreadful, totally lacking in structure and direction, the only times they were dangerous was when balls hit the floor and Wales didn't react.

| Sykes at full back was stupid.
He only got in the squad due to his good form at stand off in Bradford's end of season run. So Smith switches him to full back.
Sykes should be dropped and Smith should have been sacked after the World Cup. Smith shouldn't be anywhere near the England set up!
The Aussie and Kiwis won't be laughing at all, their chins will hit the floor at how absolutely dreadful the game is here as they'll think that's our level. Thing is how much improvement can Tony Smith get out of them?
We shall see!
As a Wigan fan I'd agree with Tomkins MOM but why Myler? Ratchford played until the season's end and was in form. Myler hadn't played.
Ratchford should have been in the halves.
Let's hope they can improve when the Leeds and Saints player take part.

3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

I agree, but he was the best player on the field. You can't ask for more.
He has been the best halfback in Superleague this season. Cut the kid some slack.

I'm not criticising him. I think the lack of organisation is due to the coaching rather than the young half backs. Look at how wel drilled Wales looked with the ball, some of their angles and moves were very impressive. They don't have the players to carry it off though.
