| Mine for sure is Saints beating Brisbane in 2001
I remember the day is if it was yesterday! I remember being off work that day and it was taking a bloody age for me to get ready and go! I had been getting txts allday of friends who support the goons that we were gunna get hammered but something inside me thought different and I admit I was trying to but the images of Saints lifting the trophy to the back of my mind as I was terrified of jinxing it!
After the long painful wait 5pm eventually came and I was on my way. I got to the Reebok and a couple of pints with mates and my missus and got into my seat. A couple of Wiganers came with me praying for Brisbane to win obviously. The first half was evenly matched and as the second half was underway Brad Meyers scored and my feelings went to despair. My mates ruffling my hair and shouting down my lughole lol as you would expect. At that point I honestly thought Brisbane would run away with it but how wrong I was!!! When Longy scored my missus whispered in my ear "just believe!" The it seemed seconds later Joynty scored after a great break by Newlove and we were back on level terms! As it was getting towards the end my nerves where a complete wreck! When Scully put us in the lead I was determinded to keep my emotions in check infront of friends! But when Longy dropped the last drop goal the tears came and they actually beyond my belief hugged me and congratulated!
I will never forget that game for aslong as I live!

Amazing.

| the most emotional game I have been too was the cc final at cardiff against your men - we knew it was greg's last game before he went for specialised treatment to america, no one realised how bad it was until he walked the team out. Dont think there was a dry eye with the wigan fans.

Having lived around the corner from Mike Gregory for a number of years until he moved house I am with you on that! The man is a legend.

| The brisbane game ranks up there right near the top, but from a personal point of view it was Kevin Wards testimonial match, the great man walked (hobbled) round the pitch before the game, it was the closest ive come to tears at a rugby match.

| grand final v wigan
after a lot of bad news both personally and business,i was at a pretty low point.a mate got me tickets for the final but i just didnt feel like it.after a lot of persuasion i ended up going.
the rest as they say is history, but saints performance put me back on top again, helped me feel good and gave me the kick up the backside i needed.
does anybody remember 'our tune' on radio 1,god i felt like i was writing to simon bates

You're lucky mate ...I have tears at every final ...soon as "Abide with me " starts, that's me gone.

| Probably the 2004 cup final for me either that or the 8 all draw at Central Park.

| Mine has to be either the 27 - 0 at Wembley I was as everybody devastated.
Or the first Wembley final I saw us win against Bradford the first time. I'd been to the three losses in a row then to win at wembley!!!!

| The Brisbane game ranks extremely high up. I have the "Two Worlds Collide" poster with Joynt and Tallis on it in a frame on my wall with the tickets inside it.
Joint top though is the come back last second try at Warrington. Phenomenal game and the emotion was something else.

| For 2 reasons, the 8 all draw with the pies at central park in 1993.
1. So close but yet so far from winning the league
2. Seeing the great Kevin Ward being carried from the field in absolute agony. No one, let alone Wardy deserved for their career to end in that manner.

I was in Leeds watching that drunk and I had tears too. Great day that. As for my most emotional match in person, that'd be the 19-18 grand final and the 96 cup final. Both great moments.

| 1996 CC Final - unbelievable
Wide to West game - couldn't go but it's the only game I've ever watched on TV that made me leap out of my seat and jump up and down
Boxing Day 92
And GB v Australia 1983 (I think) in Sydney
