All the arrogance not only from Wane (the gob) but also from the chairman. Best start to a weekend. Never thought I'd ever support Leeds but to night I applaud them. Well done Leeds. ha ha ha.

That once in a lifetime, never to be repeated, freak occurrence of a team from the horribly disadvantaged position of 5th winning the Grand Final moves a step closer to happening twice in the lifetime of a mayfly... A terrible, terrible result for the credibility of RL.

But a bloody funny result nevertheless Couldn't happen to a nicer guy than Wane that's for certain.

I'm sick of saying it, but Wigan are just nothing very special personnel wise and I always fancied Leeds to do them tonight - take Tomkins out of their line and you've little left to fear from them in attack frankly. Maguire made them very, very dangerous and difficult to beat but with the inevitable errosion that's happened under Wane this result was always a pretty good bet once ratboy was ruled out.

Certainly a good evening, but better than sex??? I can't say my memory is not that good!!!

Looking forward to tomorrow, it should be a cracker.

Why? Whatever happens tonight this Saints side (the worst since SL began IMO) have over achieved this season.

Whereas Wigan, they have been the best team in the league for the last two years haven't they?

The sheer arrogance of Wane in the McIlorum and Maguire affairs (which bordered on bringing the game into disrepute) makes this situation all the more sweeter.

So whatever happens tonight Saints will have either equalled or bettered what Wigan have done in the league, I'll settle for that this season.

At least the goons have got something else to complain about for their lack of success. For years it was the salary cap, now it is the corrupt play off system that allows no hopers like Leeds to succeed where the mighty Wigan yet again fail. Maybe they would be better looking at their crap recruitment, of players and now coach, or their total reliance on one player. Without tomkins they really are the same side that struggled for years under noble. Swapping leuluai, finch, carmont and co for the second raters that they are bringing in will consign them to years more mediocrity.
