| The answer the club will tell you is to use the car parks in the town centre?
5-10mins to the ground? (cost? who knows)
If your able bodied park up towards the hospital/area and walk down or around sherdley industrial park (near Mcdonalds)
Stay clear of the retail parks as there will be people wanting to give you a parking tkt?

| drove from widnes to st helens at the weekend. the signs are quite good to the stadium and parking.
they will bring you in down the link road, you will go straight over a roundabout passing the ground and tescos on the right. Right at next roundabout, under disco bridge, then left at next roundabout, where you can choose from several multi storeys - then walk back over disco bridge.

| Or down the link road as stated and through the Tesco roundabout and through the next roundabout, down the next carriage way to a major set of lights-get in the right hand filter lane and turn right at lights and then right again at the mini roundabout and this leads to either the multi-story (3rd exit) or the old Tesco car park (4th).They were all free at our season ticket event but I don't know about match nights yet-then a 5/10 minute walk over the bridge to the ground.

Chalon Way multistorey car park. That is the car park which is to serve as the primary parking facility for the stadium. There is also a car park next to it on the old Tesco site (the Tesco is boarded up now and therefore hard to miss).
Aim for the St Helens Linkway (it is marked as such on maps, if you are using a map, or there is the postcode of the stadium on the Saints website if you are using a SatNav). Keep going through the roundabouts following the signs to the town centre. You will eventually come across a small roundabout which exits off to the new Tesco. Just keep going straight ahead (there is only straight ahead and the exit to Tesco). You'll soon come across a bigger roundabout. Take the second exit off that. You should go under a bridge. Move into the right hand lane. Keep to the far right and take a right turn at the traffic lights. You will see the old Tesco on your right. You will go round a little roundabout. Take the final exit off that roundabout. You will see the Tesco car park on your right with the Chalon Way multistorey just beyond it. Park up on either of those two car parks.
Once you have parked up just aim for the glass museum, which you can't miss as it has a big brick kiln in front of it! Go past that and under the bridge. Keep walking. You'll pass just one building on your left (St Helens Chamber) and a couple of industrial units on your right. Keep to the pathway. You will go over the canal. You will see the flashy new bridge ahead of you. Cross that and keep on walking in front of the massive new Tesco on your left. When you get to the end of Tesco, turn left and lo and behold you will be confronted by the most magnificent stadium ever built in the history of humankind!

| Trouble with multi storey carparks after events is getting out after I would avoid them if at all possible.
Thankfully I am within a comfortable walking distance of the ground so no problem. There is plenty of on street parking within a 10 minute walk if you know the town relatively well. Fingerpost, Peasley Cross even around the 'Shires' area is hardly a hike from the stadium. Sure I could think of plenty more.

| Had a letter yesterday saying that they are looking at issuing matchday permits to stop spectators parking on the streets near the ground on matchday.
