Cunningham knocked on tonight, in true Saints fashion.

What we saw tonight was nothing new. We've watched Saints play like that many times this season. Sad they had to do it tonight though.

I'm very hopeful our new coach will teach us how to defend again, and attack from outside the 10m line, and think for ourselves on the pitch. In short, take us in an entirely different direction from Potter.

I also hope we ditch Meli and get a pacey winger!

With LMS, josh perry amd shenton coming in and all the kids a super league season older will only make saints a stronger team next year.

listen its easy to take the p...after what i seen 2night it was un like saints..just got a feeling you lot need 2 half backs to back up matty smith and over rated leon...kyle is injury prone(brilliant when he plays)so where the half backs coming from...your backs are ok with out being brilliant,and your forwards are your strength...top 6 next year

We've played most of this year with no halfbacks yet still finished 2nd and was beat by 12 points in the grand final.

Next year we will have kyle and leon fit, LMS, Perry and shenton coming in plus all the young lads will be a super league season older.

Got a feeling we will be a little stronger next year.

The last time we entered the season with a number of high profile signings was 2006 - and look what happened there.

We've been 'in decline' for the past 4 seasons, and managed to finish runners up in each of those. Hardly decline.

Infact the club needs a huge pat on the back because we've stayed at the top while rebuilding.

Matty Smith isn't there next season. He was 4th choice halfback anyway. This is typical of the care system in this Country!! This poor poster should be being properly looked after. Don't be chewing those crayons lad!

You think we have stopped rebuilding? If so, think again. We're losing how many players this season? And bringing how many in? And do we not need pacy wingers who can also tackle and catch bombs? We have a lot of rebuilding yet to do.

And I'd rather not make it to a Grand Final again until (a) we have rebuilt and (b) someone can reinstate that winning mentality we once had.

and yet, if you win it next year, in typical fashion the same people will predict you're going to dominate for the next trillion years.

people are so short sighted.

whenever a good team loses a big game they are in decline, and whenever a team get's success it's some sort of starting point for some super dynasty lasting decades.
