I cried at the end. Never have I been so proud to stand and cheer them on. Had they lost at the end I'd have stayed and applauded anyway.
Players like Wellens, Roby (absolutely magnifique) and Jammer we know all about. But how good were the likes of Foster, Ashurst, Emmit and Maggenis? Stunning game all round I thought, given the amount of big players we had missing.
But how on earth are they meant to back that up next week? Mega tough for Potter to raise them again for next week after that effort.

Potter, like the other three coaches at the top of the league, is capable of lifting us for the big games. This is the first season in Super League when all top four teams are capable of beating each other. There is no clear favourite this year so hopefully we can get two classic showpiece events before Steve Crapbanana leads the national team into RL obscurity. |
