| I would like to advise the person who's job it is to work out the attendance to hand their notice in please. 13,510?? I've seen Knowsley Road look more sp with an announced attendance of 15,000+
Same goes for the Cas and Warrington games - both had a very very healthy crowd but a relatively low 'announced attendance'.
Are we all just getting VERY fat and therefore leaving less room for maneuver or is there a bit of a scam going on?

| The figure was greeted with outright laugher in the pop side. That tells its own story!! Must have been 15k easily.

| All the play offs look light on reported attendances,
The play off cash goes to the RFL to dish out after "costs".
Does it need spelling out?

| I could be wrong but I was led to believe that, for regular season games, Saints count season tickets in the attendance figures regardless of whether the ticket holders turn up.
As play-off games don't have season tickets to count, a similar attendance (bums on seats if you will) will see a lower 'true' attendance figure.
Plus I would imagine play-off games aren't counted in the average seasonal attendance calculations so there is less/no need to add a phantom 2,000 fans.

| Looked around the 15000 mark to me. The only spaces I could see where in the corners at the away end. Maybe we gave 13500 fans, to give some of the Wigoon fans something to moan about.
I partially blame Nigel Wood who attended the match, anybody see the size of him, he alone must have taken up 3 seats.

| It looked pretty full where I was behind the sticks in the away end, but you can never tell how full, as you can't see the front or round the back.
We definately took more than we did to Wire last week, my estimate approx. 2250 - 2500?

I think we said it looked like about 1500. Made a hell of a noise though!

| Saints have been doing it or years, once the shoes and socks are off on the crowd counters it can be think of a number, double it and remove a percentage of the gate receipts.

Might explain why there was only 13500 in there last night, you must of been on the gates counting them in

| Its simple, the money goes to the rfl not saints so the extra 1500 people or how many there were the money goes to saints

| Sssssh! Don't tell the VATman.
I judge the expected crowd by how near to my usual parking spec I can get 90 minutes before KO and how many people are in the ale queue in Touchlines.
The entire street was packed where I usually park (more so than the Wire game), so had to park around the corner, and the ale queue in Touchlines was out of the door (again more so than the Wire game). Well more than 13,500 on.

| Nice to see Hudds fans turn up, in all my time that was the best ever away following from Hudds, 1500 WOWSERS, I dont think they took that many to the CC finals. Their team deserved their support, they had a good sing song, had plenty to sing about to. Hope the word gets out that the Giants are a decent outfit and their crowds increase, and MORE fans follow them away from home, I love it when an away team brings a load of fans.. well done hudds fans, dont drop back to the usual 100 - 300 please !
Oh and 13k gate ... *giggles*

| I think that throughout the play offs there has been a smell from the official figures. Not just at Saints.
