| Every body around in east hull says jon wilikn will 1 day return to the good side east hull. He was a great player playing in a terrible team at the time and said he would 1 day return to rovers before he retires and play in for the robins. When saints did the 50-0 challenge cup win over us in 2006 he was crying before and after the game because he never wanted his side to go up against us is that a sign of passion and or love for us?

| Jonny could quite possibly return to Hull KR but I honestly wouldn't think it'd be anytime soon.
On his return from injury on Friday I personally thought he looked very impressive considering it was his first game back in 3 or so months. He's still got many things to win at Saints and is still looking at Rep honours.

| Players make many comments about returning to clubs. At the end of the day it comes down to financial security. As much as Wilkin may have HKR close to his heart,he will be where the money is.A good example was Morley when he returned from Aus.He probably wanted to go to his hometown club,Salford more than Wire, but the contract on offer at the HJ was too much to turn down, and the possibility of success.

Hate to disagree with you Messy but Wilkins defence was awfull to say the least?
Yes he was playing out of position and coming back from injury but his tackling was poo

Fair point... although returning from shoulder / neck / what you tackle with injury Jon would surely be hesitant as to what it can withstand?
I thought going forward he looked okay and personally I thought he looked a bit quicker than previously although its been a while since we've seen him

What I was meaning was he has more chance of building his collection at Saints and winning things again rather than Hull KR, with no disrespect.

| He's got a house and a business in Warrington hasn't he? I can't seem him flying home to the slums of Hull, no matter how fond he is of the Robbins.

Wilkin had all the potential to be a very fine player. He had everything.
Over the last couple of year he as transformed into a defensive second row, he is no better than what Mike Bennett was for us. I imagine Wilkin is on a very nice salary aswell. I'd sooner get shut.

I know you don't rate Wilkin, but that's just ridiculous.
Wilkin scores more tries, lays more on, busts more tackles, makes more breaks, kicks in open field and I would guess makes FAR more tackles than Bennett ever did. He can also cover the halves (admittedly not brilliantly, but a hell of a lot better than Mike Bennett ever could).
