The only way to but this to bed would be to release Lance's medical records as saints have spoken some strong words. Not sure of the legality of this but it would soon nip it in the bud. In all he shouldn't of been put in this position by Flower in the first place.

It could but it looks like Saints are going to take him to cleaners on this, if they are, like they say the innocent party and refute (and prove) all the allegations then Lance's accountant will soon find it very easy to do his sums.
Then Mr Flower might want to get himself some legal advice if that happens.

Why has he raked all this up, now? It's been done and forgotten. It's crazy to think that what he has said is [ientirely[/i true. Why would any sporting organisation act in that way? I just don't see it.
Saints have to be defensive about this, so I don't blame them for the way that the statement has been drafted.
This could get ugly again.

Say if this does go to court no matter who wins or loses, saints or Lance, it will lead straight back to the source which is Flower. I can see whoever loses this taking on Flower in a court to recoup any loses. I think Mr Flower will need to lawyer up.

Perhaps he's doing it to ensure that what happened to him doesn't happen to anyone else.
Regardless of any medical issues relating to concussion he may or may not have (and those are not easy to diagnose!) - it sounds as if there were psychological issues that weren't handled well. |
