| I've just read on Saints website that Jonny Lomax has been called up to the full England squad.
Congratulations to him. It will be exciting to see him play at some point. Not sure he's ready for this Four Nations but who knows? We may see him line up against the Aussies or Kiwis in the autumn!
Meanwhile, LMS has been dropped from all England squads.

| Good player, deserves at shot at International level and why not, our current half backs are Brough, Myler, Brown, he's got more to his game than the 3 of them IMO.
Still think its a disgrace that Jamie Peacock gets in the squad and Lee mossop doesnt, logic?? Anyone??

Jamie peacock, although struggling since his return, is a player that has always shown up very well against Oz/NZ and embodies the approach you want from a captain and prop in an England shirt.
I have no issues with him being in there.

From a coach that harps on about bulding for the future though? Mossop has been immense this season and makes a lot of people's dream team (not just Wigan fans)

I'm not saying I wouldn't have Mossop in my squad, but it wouldn't be at the expense of Peacock.
His passion for the international game and experience is very valuable in a squad environment. He's one of our few proven international performers and I've no doubt will show up well if selected.

| Point taken, I still however thinks Mossop has to be in, Crabtree will get battered by the Aussies so if not for Peacock id put him in over Crabtree.

| I do agree that Mossop should definitely be in the squad. However, Crabtree showed up well 2 years ago in the Tri Nations over here and I think he offers something a little bit different. Not sure he'd be in my 17 and I'm not sure he's really kicked on but at his best he's a real handful.

I was pleasently suprised with how Eorl has gone internationally when given the chance. In the Tri Nations you mention I wanted them to take Carvell instead, but was happy to take back my reservations.

| My OP was about Jonny Lomax, a young, home grown player from St Helens who has had his first call up to the England squad.
Why the fook are a Wigan player and old crone from Leeds being discussed?

I'm a massive fan of what he has done for us this but I'm not sure he is ready either and hope he doesn't freeze giving a loss of confidence.
As far as LMS is concerned, what do you expect from McBanana?
The guy is the most clueless england coach since goodway.
Yeah don't sack him bradford we will have him for england - you couldn't make it up.
We're doomed I tell you ...doomed..
