To be fair he means all fans not just Saints and I'm effect he's correct. He makes another fool of himself but he's not calling saints fans specifically sheep.
To be honest this sort or article and sky asking him if he's the man for the job isn't good for him, it highlights he's in deep water and struggling.
A big defeat on Saturday just may be the nail in the coffin for him but I fear Mcmanus will give him this season and then see how he goes next year.

I think he'll be okay whatever happens on Saturday, as it's arguably the toughest fixture of the season and one which me might reasonably expect to lose even if things were going well.
The one that could potentially do him over is HKR at home the following week. If we were to take a beating from a mid-table team in front of an already angry home crowd then I don't see how he could come back from that.

| I actually like his fighting spirit and it wouldn't surprise me that he will get a lot of support from the other super league coaches the fans are obviously another matter. The biggest problem for him is how all this inexperience and experimentation is effecting the saints players, will they pull together and show the same fighting spirit, to do that they need to do the very basics of the game well, some of the senior players need to sit down with KC to see if there is any chance of recovery as we go into the 8's.

I personally don't think Mcmanus will sack him this year. I think he will be given to easter next year to prove his worth.
I don't think KC is a good coach yet (he's still learning) but I think if he makes 3/4 good signings in the off season then things can change. Hull and catalan invested well in the off season and they are looking good ( I'm not sure the French guy I'm not trying to spell or Radford are good coaches) so this is Hope for next year.
Super league is at such a low Standard, it doesn't take much to get you back up there. KC recruitment has to be spot on tho unlike the crap he's brought in already.
It shows what a good job Wane does at Wigan, they lose top players year after year and very rare he replaces them but they just roll on.

Apparently tony smith was singing his praises and doing his best to not let him get the sack last week in the post match press conference.

It's obvious that other coaches want him to stay. The longer he stays, the worse we are.

A cunning tactic indeed. We all prayed Cullen would be at Dire for many many seasons. Sadly Moran eventually saw sense and fired him.

I agree, he thinks he's some old head that's a fountain of rugby league knowledge.
His last comment "what I don't know about rugby league isn't worth knowing" is a sure fire sign he thinks he's better than he is.

Trouble is if hes not moved out he'll be involved in further signings and likely put us back a further year

To be fair he knows a dam sight more than we do.
I think the "supporters" who booed when his pic was shown on TV should be ashamed of themselves for aiding the opposition, don't you think it gives a psychological lift to visit in sides to hear that and what affect does it have on our own players
Supporters should try and rally their team not provide ammunition for the opposition

| One interesting thought, KC has roughly been a coach now for 50 games, what position of influence and success where the following over the same period in Smith, Fray'ss, McDermott, Powell, Wane, Betts and Radford.

Not according to the gospel of St Keiron “We have got to be smart how we do our shopping. The next recruits for this club are going to take us to the promised land.”'"
The best of it is not taking personal responsibility though;
Quote: Legman " “You have got to hold your nerve and not panic buy.
“We have done that in the past and ended up with players for two or three years when after 12 months we are all thinking ‘What the hell is he doing at this club? '"
So you haven't bought any duffers then KC; it must have been all the coaches before you then?
I will say one thing positive about him in this article though - its good to see him coming out with fighting talk which I hope translates into more fight and pride in the players.
