| Wigan fan. Thought he was outstanding for his age tonight. One of those increasingly rare halfbacks nowadays who can take on the line and has a running game as good as a kicking game. Cracking prospect for next 10-12 years.

| He is great and looked great in pre season. Now a great win but what still gets on my ti#s is the fact our clown of a coach thought Jordan Turner is a better stand off.

| I'd go as far as saying that was one of the best performances we have seen from a Saints #6 for a very long time. He was clear Man of the Match.
I'm glad we ditched the 'split the halves' gimic and put Walsh at first receiver. We looked so much better and it allowed Fages to have a lot of freedom.
I honestly can't understand how he hasn't played the full season.

| I reckon if he had played him earlier the season we might have picked up an extra win on the games played so far. Does this mean "Project Turner" is now obsolete.

| Taking on the line has always been his strong point, but where the he'll has that kicking game come from! Thought he was exceptional last night. If he can carry on like that you've got a great chance when you get some bodies back
Wasn't haply with how he left Salford but hope he fulfils his potential with you lot.

I think he's the sort of player that will be a little hit and miss with his kicking but hopefully will grow into this as he's gets older and develops.

It's been very easy for everyone to say he should have played from game one, but only the team will really know what he has been working on in Training and in the academy games.
I'm yet to see him play in the redvee as I've not seen any games for a few weeks. But we were close with Hull and just seemed to run out of steam.
It maybe that we are starting to find some form.

Much like Sean Long did, mate.
Luke Walsh seems to enjoy working the halves with him too.

Longy pulled out the kicks in the big games tho mate. Kicking is something you can work on and Theo is only young so has plenty of time to work on this. His kicking and running game was quality last night

| Talking of kicking, when was the last time you saw a Saints player put a chip kick over the defence then chase it, ok it didn't come off perfectly but it caused mayhem and it's good to see a bit of off the cuff rugby
I think last one was Lomax early last season or even the year before !!!

| He was fantastic last night and already has more try assists this season than the likes of Smith, Sutcliffe, Burrow, Gidley, Sneyd, Lui and Bosc despite playing second fiddle to Jordan Turner for half the season so far.
I think the important thing will be to not get too carried away. Long term i think he'll be a great player but for the next couple of seasons i'd imagine he'll have good games and not so good games, as youngsters do. Looks a great proposition for us in the next few years though. Hopefully he can avoid the injury curse that seems to be halting Lomax, Makinson and Percival's development in-particular.

| To be honest he's not bad but I do think he's being over hyped here and on Sky sports. I can recall some people saying similar things about Walsh, but that optimism has faded somewhat. But let's see how Fages goes over time.

The Walsh hype was justified initially. He was very good in his first year before the big injury. Sadly after the broken leg and ankle surgery, he has lost a yard and seems to be struggling with the physicality of the game and isn't the same player.

Walsh was front runner for Man of Steel until his bad injury, helps if he has settled partner instead of every Tom, Dick and Harry!

| I'd be a bit careful about going over the top about him just yet, but he's got potential to be very good.
And he's far better than Turner at 6 at the moment so picking him is a no brainer (and Turner is, amazingly, better at centre).
