SAINTS have announced their 19-man squad for Friday's First Utility Super League Round Eight clash at Wigan Warriors.

Joe Greenwood is recalled whilst Jack Ashworth is named in the ‘19' after being drafted in late last week ahead of the trip to Hull KR.

Assuming Greenwood is actually fit I'd be tempted to go like this and aim to smash them in the forwards.

Both teams name their squads and the sold out signs go up.

Id go with that. I'm not sure if Wello will play as I think he needs surgery. Maybe he's put that off until we get players back.

Bowen missing is as big a blow TO US as Burns being out is. A huge blow. If Hampshire is half as good as they say, he'll have a field day against us. Bowen would have been worth 10 points to us.

Hopefully he's missing entirely as playing with 12 men in a derby when we've got many key players out would be a tough ask. Having Wello hobbling around injured would benefit no one.

Hampshire is a halfback , Wilkin should be putting him under as much pressure as possible and hope he has a bit of a 'Bowen'. Regardless of who's playing fullback for them our best chance of a win will come from our forwards, if we dominate the middle of the park our makeshift halves will have the extra time and space they need to try and get us over the line.

What ever team turns out for the Saints I'm sure they will do their best, that's all anyone can ask for. COYS

Peoples don't forget the Pie Dome pitch is shocking and the weather is going to be bad so a forward battle we must make it?

We should be doing rain dances and hoping someone accidentally drives a tractor over the pitch thursday night.

Obviously the weathers been shocking in the build up but I think it should be dry come Friday 3pm. Probably favours wigoon a bit but can't see it being a huge factor

If Hampshire is at Full Back we should put bombs on him all day long, he's not a Full Back at all.

If he's at 6 however, our edge defenders need to be on their game.
