I have seen the post match interview with N.B. He was very honest and rather scathing of certain players who he stated were underachieving. Who are your picks from today's game. Mine are, Roby was not looking for work as is usual, Lms and Flaners ineffective, Turner just not at the races. Others I thought had poor games too but to me the four I have named stood out.

It's hard to call Roby, he's definitely not his usual self re passes etc put even in this form he's in the top 10 in SL
LMS is bloody awful, cant half tell he got a new deal last year

Dawson played well, very surprised that most of wigans breaks and tries came down the other side
Turner had a mare 2-3 /10 defensively absolutely shocking! the worst defensive display i've ever seen from a top class centre that he is!

I don't rate Dawson. Poor in defence and offers nothing in attack. He's decent winger but I'd never play him centre and prefer Ade on the wing.

The players I feel Brown is referring to are - Turner, Lms, Flanaghan, Wilkin.

LMS was the worst player by a long way on the pitch today. Turner just lacks application for me, he has the build and skill to be a good player but does not apply himself consistently.

I thought Dawson was one of your better players today.

Not sure if i'd go that far but i don't quite understand where he is getting all this abuse from.

He offers nothing. We missed Swift big time. Dawson can't beat a man and awful in defence. I'm not faulting him for effort but he's not good enough against the likes of Wigan, Leeds and Warrington.

Turner a top class centre really?

He has a good back handed flick but makes way too many errors to be classed in that bracket imo. He was shocking at Cas last week and not much better today especially in defence.

He's developed from his time at Hull and might get there one day but he's a way off at the moment.

You've rode your luck for at least the last 2 weeks, it ran out today.
On top of that we were on fire all over the field, especially considering in the 2nd have we only had 2 subs.

I agree we've scraped a few wins with a bit of help from Lady Luck. Wigan played miles better than us today, their line speed was great, ours was non-existent. It's one thing that really irritates me about saints, the number of times you see our defensive line not moving up, just standing back and giving the attacking side an easy 10 metres and plenty of time and space to put moves on or kick unchallenged. Today we did it with receiving kicks as well, hardly contested their attacking kicks at all. Turners defence was particularly poor, it's never great but today it was abysmal.

Hopefully it's the wake up call we needed.

It's easy to make scapegoats of the usual suspects but I think it's unfair for some certain untouchable players to get off without criticism.

Roby has been very poor the last 3 weeks. His running from dummy half has lost it's impact and his distribution from the PTB had been the worst I've seen from him.

He always tackles and puts the effort in but it's clear he's playing below his ability.
