| Not seen it mentioned yet but three of our own are in the Knights set up; Josh Jones, Jonny Lomax and Tommy Makinson. Quite surprised there was no place for big Alex but his injuries may have kept him out.

Kieran Dixon (London Broncos, Hemel Stags)
Chris Green (Hull FC, Skirlaugh)
Josh Hodgson (Hull KR, East Hull)
Josh Jones (St Helens, Blackbrook)

He has cracked ribs so I would imagine that didn't help! He'd also put his hand up for Scotland prior to his cracked ribs so my guess is he wouldn't have played for the Knights anyway, even if he'd been fit.
Really pleased for our three as this match will be a different experience for them. Both Lomax and Makinson have played in big games before and neither of them has let us down but it will be a very new experience for Jones, assuming he gets a chance to play. I hope they all get a chance to play against Samoa isn't it? They are a massive side and so will present our young guns with quite a challenge. I hope Lomax's hamstring is up to it.

Mose might be playing in that game.

| I think it'd be a good idea to pull Lomax out of any international games this year. He wasn't in the best of condition at all last season and could do with the time to get himself in proper shape.

| Congratulations to Backrow Saint for giving me my first laugh of the day by sneaking Ben Cockayne's name on to the top of the squad list

| Is Ben Jones Bishop any good?
I know some seem to rate him very highly, but I'm struggling to recall him doing much to set him apart from other wingers.

| I'm surprised Swifty hasnt made this squad as well as Makinson, think he must have pushed close on his performances this season

I think he is. I've been watching him closely this year, with the rumours that Briscoe was going to Leeds (now confirmed) and that BJB was heading to Warrington.
He impressed me in our games recently too and I thought, besides that try he should have scored early on in the Wigan semi, he had a very good game and got through a lot of work in terms of carries.
I'd have him at saints.

I think it would have been difficult to justify swifty in the line up.
He has had a blistering end to the season, but it's hard to put up a case that given the number of games he should go straight in.

He also didn't actually do very much. Any winger can fall over the line to score provided they can catch a ball. The fact that he scored so many wasn't that remarkable. I still don't think he's a winger either, just doesn't look natural for him there.

Constantly bagging our yound lads. Dident do very much ? he scored a couple of full length tries (something you moaned we never did) and made a number of full length breaks (again something you always critizised we never did).
Seen u bagging our young forwards on another thread saying they 'dont do much' these lads (richards and Thompson) are 18 years of age. What was Peacock doing at 18 ? you constantly write absolute balls and i aint biting because you aint trolling. You just dont know much about Rugby league and what it involves.

Getting a bit tiring now, stick to the funny stuff once in a while.

| Now now (Saddened) don't drag me in on this bagging everything St Helens.
I thought he has plenty of class on the wing.
My point is selection for internationals would be tough to justify after having such a late run in the side and only 12 games all season.
His try scoring is undoubted, but I think to justify a call up, you need to get a good 12 months under your belt.
You would have to be Murphesque to get a call up after 12 appearances.
But his stats are amazing 13 tries in 12 games. Not bad at all, if he had been there all season he would have been our top try scorer no doubt about it.
Wingers are there to score tries, he has also showed his brains anyone who saw his take on the free play at Hull can see that.
