Can anyone confirm whats up with him? I've heard a few things but nothing 100%. I can't recall anyone from the club confirming whats up with him either.

It's a hamstring strain that's taking longer than expected to clear up. He'll hopefully be back next week but that was said last week. Just one of those things and it'll take as long as it takes.

I spoke to jonny a few days before the Good Friday game and he told me he'd be playing at Wigan.
Obviously he's had a set back.

Well at least he hasn't been risked.
What doeseveryone else think about the club's policy of not putting time limits on injuries as apparently it puts pressure on the staff and players?
I can see why it's done but it's frustrating as a fan not having any idea or updates from the club on injured players. |

It's just unfortunate with muscles strains, it's hard to pin down the amount of time it'll take to recover and sometimes it just takes longer than others. |

Personally, I think it's more important allowing the players and staff as much time as the need rather than putting a 'deadline' on it so the fans know.
Looking at it from the Saints point of view anyway. |

I agree that players should be given as long as they need to recover but sometimes I feel it puts the staff under no pressure at all and may cause them to be a bit 'lazy' in their roles. Probably doesn't occur its just a worry I have. |

When there's a multitude of injuries people are always going to look for reasons to it, it's just a natural process. I think we've just been incredibly unlucky although the amount of muscle injuries, especially hamstrings, does need to be looked at as we seem to have a slightly higher than normal frequency with those in particular. |

He tweeked it in training the day before the game. Was absolutely gutted not to be playing. |
