| Going to be some player this kid isent he ? He just oozes class with ball in hand. Oure naturall centre who will bulk out nicely instead of turning into your typical British second row.
And speaking of second rows i believe Josh Jones is a future international in that position. Excellent power, good defence, excellent work ethic. Got all the attributes make it imo.

| Very excited indeed about Percival. Class act.
Jones is never a centre, agree he could make a quality back rower.

| Greenwood looks a good forward too. Tilley looked pretty good as well, the future's bright in my opinion.

Greenwood would be ahead of a number of more senior players in the pecking order for me.
I'd sooner he played in the big games than LMS.

| Greenwood looks good, I'd have him in the backrow with Jones long term. Percival is too small. He'll need to bulk out whilst retaining his speed and elusiveness if he's to make it. He's very exciting to watch now, but can't defend for toffee because he is incredibly skinny and small physically.
Tiley won't make it, far too small for a forward and not enough skill in the backs.

Tilley looks small but tell that to the Castleford attack, he absolutely rattled them in defence. It was a excellent stint for a lad on debut.

| Saddened, you must be watching a different player. Percival defends really well considering his age and experience level. Tilley is one to watch, I certainly wouldn't be writing him off after 20mins on his debut. Coached him a bit at scholarship level at u14's and u15's, runs great lines (as per his break yesterday) and defends like a player twice his size. Give the lad a break.

| I was going to ask about Josh Jones, but do people really rate him in the back row? I think there are players more suited to centre than him, but there are players I'd have over him in the back-row?
As for Saddened! already writing off Tilley, I'm not sure how you can say that based on his build now. He seemed to hold his weight yesterday and that's a good early sign. Liam Farrell isn't the biggest of forwards, but he is probably one of the form players in the league atm.

I agree, he basically had Carl Ablett in his pocket when he made his debut.

I've read this a few times now and don't agree with it. He managed to hold on to him most times (got run over once) but looked to be struggling to do so at times.
He did a good job, but having Ablett in his pocket doesn't reflect reality IMO.

Some of our players struggle to hold on to Rob Burrow so I'm not sure why you criticise Percival on his first team debut for struggling to hold on to a lump like Ablett. The point is that but for one occasion in an 80 minute game, he held on.

| Percival was player I mentioned a couple of years back. However he is still young and a little weak defensively. He missed four tackles v Wigan, but does look as though he has it in him to be a really good centre.
Another centre to keep a look out for is Oliver Gildhart at Wigan, he is still first year (U17) but has been very impressive in Wigans u19 this season.

True, but in the same match he made 3 clean breaks, so he certainly troubled Leeds a lot more than they troubled him.

Ablett is twice the size of Percival, what were you expecting him to do exactly? He hardly gave him a sniff all game, hence the 'in his pocket' metaphor. What more did you want from him?

| Percival is a class act, and more importantly a natural centre. His pace and footwork are both exceptional, and he seems to know where to find space. What impressed me most against Leeds was his ability to time a run and hit the ball at pace running at the inside shoulder of his marker which is extremely difficult to deal with.
As pointed out, Jones is never a centre, but he would make a decent back rower.
Thought Joe Greenwood had a good game on the right edge as well yesterday. Get him running at the halves and centres on a regular basis and he will cause problems.
