Well injury has prevented my attendance tonight but it seams that the Saints players have done their part tonight. We just need a helping hand from Hull KR and Wakey now.

Ah if only this was the table come the end of the weekend.

| We played the conditions very well. We didn't really make any unforced errors and the forwards completely dominated the Bulls pack. From that we were able to score dome nice tries, with the highlight being Lomax's effort in the 2nd half. Brilliant play from Makinson to tip toe down the touchline from inside our half and feed Lomax for a nice score.Josh Jones was also superb tonight and too his 3 tries well. Lomax MOM for me though, he completely ran the show.

Lance did ok tonight but nothing special. He's so slow on the ball it's unreal and some of his passes are just for passing sake.
He looked better when he run at the line. He took his try very well and reminded me of the lance hohaia of the NZ warriors.

| Perry and Clough played very well in the pack today. Wellens was almost error free. Shenton got some decent ball in the 2nd half. Josh Jones one of our better players took his tries well.

| I was impressed with the way we controlled the game. Our kicking game was high quality in both halves, taking full note of the windy conditions.
Our ball control was also excellent. I think we probably only knocked on twice in the whole game.
Thought Josh Perry went really well in the front row. Making lots of yardage after the impact.
Lomax however was a clear MOM. Not only was his support play top draw but he made numerous breaks and half breaks throughout the game.
Big wraps also to Josh Jones for his hatrick. He is an ungainly runner but takes some stopping and has good agility for a big man.Ive been racking my brains at were ive seen his head down running style before in a big man, and ive just remembered that its like a couple of Dick Huddart trys that ive seen on video. (before you start jumping to conclusions I AM NOT SAYING HE WILL BE A NEW DICK HUDDART)
Need to see Josh get put in the clear now to see how much pace he has.
I also felt Bradford were rather poor, and failed to capitalise on the wind in the second half. I really think their short turnaround will not have helped their preparation. Having played monday night they will have probably spent tuesday in rehab and video analysis, before doing a couple of light sessions on wednesday and thursday to try to go over some moves.

| 4th in the league is a massive improvement in a short space of time with an unproven coach.
Can we now lose the haters

We played on Sunday so only had a day extra to prepare. We also had a tougher game where we did alot of defending.
Bradford have alot of injuries right now and offered very little threat all night. It was a stroll in the park for us. They were as bad as Widnes were when we played them earlier in the year.

| In the first 15 minutes we didn't look like a team which would put 50 past anyone and we dropped a bit of ball/gave away a few penalties but the Bulls were very poor and didn't offer much resistence. A few of them tried hard but it must have been a miserable night for what was a good turnout from the Bulls fans given the awful weather (thinking of that trip over the M62).
We scored a couple of nice tries; the one created by Makinson was probably most impressive although the one rescued by Jones came a close second. It wasn't a great match to watch as a match, if you see what I mean, as there was very little contest from the Bulls but it was good to see so many tries by us, most of which were converted by Makinson (he did very well given the wind), and the points will certainly do us no harm.
Although Lomax played very well my MoM was Makinson. Not only did he play well on the wing, working hard in defence and scoring a good winger's try, but he impressed for the last ten at fullback and it was good to see a fullback chiming in the line at pace and on BOTH sides of the pitch.

Lance was appalling in the first half, the crowd around me were really getting on his back. He has played so many matches in the NRL and at international level, but he plays the game like he started last week. He was throwing hospital passes round, dropping off tackles and giving away utterly stupid penalties time after time. Three times in the first half we had the Bulls trapped in their 20 after a solid set and good kick and he went and gave a penalty away and wasted all that effort. He's really starting to annoy me now.
I was utterly bored at the game tonight, I'll admit that. The game was surreal, absolutely no intensity on the field and no noise at all from the supporters. Langtree Park is turning into a bit of a graveyard in terms of atmosphere, not that the match helped. If I were a Bradford supporter who had travelled down the trail I would be livid with the effort the Bradford players put in tonight, they didn't want to be there at all. That dragged us down to the same level and although we did the basics well and defended superbly we were going through the motions for large spells of the game, just trundling through sets and kicking, with no real intent to do anything.
In terms of who played well it's hard to single players out given how poor and disinterested the opposition was. Lomax looked very lively and was cutting through at will, Perry went well as did Sia and LMS impressed when he came on. Jones did well for his third but the outside backs could have all had a hatful as Bradford weren't sliding or numbering up properly at all. It was good to see Makinson having a rare gallop down the wing for Lomax's try, but still didn't get to see him pin his ears back and go for it as he spent half his run timing the ball inside to J-Lo.
I've had Premier Sports this season so have been watching the NRL. It's the same sport, but it's worlds apart from Super League. I've seen more intensity in an uncontested training match than tonight, several times I had to move position and give myself a slap or I would have fallen asleep.

| Yu know that won't happen. A certain mrs Simmons aka saintsfan will no doubt find some faults to moan about or point out where Royce would have done better ... Just like the last time we played the dulls
